Got mine coming from Amazon but thought I would give the PH BF3/4 chaps a heads up. It looks like it is only available packaged with killzone. It looks like a good game, I upgraded my order to the killzone bundle.
Out of stock already shoot
Yea it was plastered all over the deal websites yesterday, was never going to last long.

I hear rumours that in the US there were plenty of units left on the shelves for those who hadn't pre-ordered to just rock up to a store and buy one.

Hope all the pre-order hype in the UK proves to be just as false.

I think there were for a while, but over the weekend they've all been snapped up:

And you'll struggle to find one now, so I'd get in on Friday the 29th if you are planning on getting one, as you might not be able to if you leave it til the week after.

Looks like Asda have removed the PS4 from there site entirely. Just getting error messages when I try to view.

I ordered mine from Asda months ago, on the logic that Walmart as a global group will be quite high up Sony's priority list for shipping. They confirmed release day delivery weeks ago.

Bit gutted I didn't get that Killzone bundle though, sure I paid more than that for the console (can't remember if it was £349 or £399).

Right so how many people are actually getting a PS4+BF4 next Friday? I ask because apart from BF4 which tbh I am already playing on the PS3, I can't see anything which is making me want to go and drop £350 on the PS4 right now. Don't get me wrong, the console has great potential but their won't really be anything else worth playing on it until spring\summer.

Seriously tempted to give it a miss for now.

Exactly the same as me. £350 for it, £10 to upgrade BF4 and £40 for premium to play online means I would be looking at £400 just to play BF4 on a PS4. Think I might wait until other games come out I want. Though I may well change my mind soon enough!!

Battlefield isn't really Battlefield with the diddy teams on the current-gen consoles. 64 players is where it's at!

Agreed, I think a lot of the maps will be transformed by having 64 players - on the PS3 you can wander around for minutes at a time without coming across anyone on Conquest.

Rush etc will be manic if they up the player count.

I felt much the same about BF3 on the PS3 - Kharg and Firestorm in particular would be great with more players.

PS4 & BF4 for me, Thats all I have coming on day 1. BF4 is pretty much all im playing ATM, so is all I need for PS4.

As and when I get bored ill go down me local and grab another game. Possibly Ghosts, Killzone or NFS. None of the other stuff appeals.

Getting excited.

I am getting Killzone, to controllers and the camera. I am not that bothered about the camera but it basically came free with the stuff I wanted anyway.

I am thoroughly enjoying bf4 on ps3. I think it will be epic on ps4!

PS4 bought and paid for. Already have battlefield4. To be honest my PS3 is on its way out (over 5 years old now) and will probably be retired to the living room to perform blu ray duties.

Tbh i'm glad there isn't loads of launch titles. I couldn't afford them all anyway. I'll be happy with bf4 and the free games until GT or Drive Club are released.

Also, loving obliteration and Domination game modes. Awesome.

Agreed re lack of launch titles! I've just spent £367 on two front tyres for my car, galling to think that is more than the cost of a PS4!

I will probably go for Battlefield 4 as opposed to COD Ghosts on PS4 (I always bought both previously). Will probably get COD at a later stage. Killzone looks amazing from some screenshots I saw a few days ago.

64 player online sounds incredible, especially in a rush battle, the potential ofr the number of tanks, helicopters, jets etc involved in a single game seems amazing compared to what we have now. I remember playing Ressistance 2 on PS3 back in 2009, that had 64 player online and that was manic, but Battlefield should be on a whole different level.

64 players still feels small compared to MAG's 256 players, and that really worked.

My favourite maps on both BF3 and PS3 BF4 are the tight infantry maps simply because you can have battles with 20 plus people involved that last for 10 minutes or more, rather than a random stream of 1 on 1s that last just a few seconds at a time.

The longer battles give you more scope for thinking tactically, rather than just picking the best run and gun kit (plus C4 for vehicle maps).

Hopefully 64 player BF4 will lead to more tactical play with epic firefights like when two sides are dug in on Metro on BF3.

Xbone exclusive for now. Can't see why they'd release it for previous gen as my ps3 struggled with Oman as it was.
