For me, yes. I find myself not downshifting to keep it off boost while exiting. Not that it made much of a difference to my times...

Quickest I've managed is a 1:51.2. A few sighting laps as I didn't know the track, and then probably 15 laps (PS4 using G29)



I managed a 42.6 in sector 2 on an earlier lap so I know I can go quicker .... but no idea where I'd find another 2s to be up with the quick boys!!

Still getting used to the wheel, sitting at 2 mins on the nose, definitely need practice, especially on the tighter turns learning how far to turn the wheel before losing grip!

1:49.571, no assists. The car is a hoot to drive, likes to slide but has enough aero to get away with it. These pedals are fantastic, getting used to the brake now and both the accelerator and brake have a motor on them which rumbles when you lock up or when the wheels spin (which is quite a lot on the fast corners with this car).

Also got one of these http://www.pagnian.co.uk/racing-simulator-cockpit/... for everything to sit on, very impressed, it is very sturdy and folds up like an ironing board with everything still attached.

Typical, a rare win for me and just like last time, I won't be around much for the week as I'm going abroad.

I may get a go tomorrow night though, so I'll choose one of my faves, Formula C at Laguna Seca. Hope that's ok with everyone. It's a nice little combo that is easy to improve your time on lap by lap.

That is a lot of fun. Managed to shift about 7 seconds off from first attempt to fastest lap... cant see me getting much quicker.


Only got a vid of my 2nd fastest lap. My fastest lap was just a bit cleaner. Andy tips welcome.

Currently on a 1.20.893 on PS4 with a G29 - there is definitely time to be had though as I'm pretty sure at least 2 corners can be taken without lifting as long as the turn in is nailed :-/
