Agree, but KD gives you a good indication of how good you are at the shooty part of the game. You're no use if you're just getting shot all the time. Last week, for some reason, I was in the top 3 or 4 number of deaths every game. Had a much better time over the weekend by trying to be a bit more circumspect, rather than charging in.
Kind of. But the other day I died rather a lot. In fact, every time I armed the objective. But eventually we won and I had armed the most objectives by a long shot. The rest of my team were not so keen to die. However whilst my KDR was not impressive, I had in effect won the game for my team by arming the telegraphs and knowing I was doomed (even lobbing gas grenades at the objective just before my inevitable death)I did these the other night on PS4

Had a good session last night, jumped from lvl 13 to 18. Took support to lvl 3 and the others to lvl 2.
Highlights were blowing up a bomber with a light tank and a squad wipe bonus with a cheeky granade throw on Argonne forest.
-liking the 1895 better than the smle.
- booby traps are fun.
- Anti tank mines on the railtrack
-lewis gun is still the gun i get on with best as support.
-i can't fly for st
-cavalry is massively OP.... except the paper pony that i jump on.

Heh, I took a random shot at a fighter plane over head last night, it must have been close to death anyway, but a load of bits came off it, smoke and then crashed into the mountain.
Nice! I also used a k bullet in the smle and shot a fighter plane - that gave me an engine disabled bonus.. pilot bailed though https://forums.battlefield.com/en-us/discussion/63...
Oddly enough it sort of says everything... Glad it's not just me then....

In my experience, his points are all incredibly rare or low priority, what would really be nice is if it were as easy to squad up and play with friends as it was in earlier BF games. The current system is a real game breaker.Oddly enough it sort of says everything... Glad it's not just me then....
For the rest of it, sure there are a few glitches, but they're nothing compared to some of the other games that have been released recently or even BF4 when it was first released.

Quite a lot I agree with there, maybe I'm not quite as passionate about them as the forum chap but many are quite irritating. The point about battlepacks could have been extended to them including items that are utterly pointless in the grand scheme of things. The XP boost for the squad is nice but having a different shade of brown on a gun I don't have (or want) doesn't really tickle me.Oddly enough it sort of says everything... Glad it's not just me then....
They will get there in the end, BF4 is still in need of refinement but certainly improved as time went on... mostly.
Currently my biggest gripe is probably being unable to climb more of the scenery in Argonne - things you could easily get up and over in other maps are seemingly fitted with an invisible fence in the forest.
Ideally I'd just like them to remake BF2 but with the BF1 engine though so my thoughts probably mean nothing
I just got awarded a "superior" battlepack for having Premium, however when I opened it the little video suddenly stopped and it exited back to the other screen with the battlepack / medal selection on. It's opened presumably but I can't see what was in it - has anyone else had this?
ETA: My "Inventory" page now has an entry for "ID_P_CAT_VEHICLE_SKINS" that wasn't there earlier. It's empty.

Had a cracking round on St Quentinn's Scar Operations the other day.
Sprinted like a mad man the moment the match began, made it half way out in to no man's land behind some cover, turned around and proceeded to shoot in to the backs of the troops obliviously charging past me towards their objectives.
I exhausted every last round I had (pistol and grenades included), shouted for ammo but to no avail. With nothing left but my knife I charged out of the hiding spot and was shot in less than second.

haha beano. I think that in the trade is known as going "Winchester" when you run out of ammo.Sprinted like a mad man the moment the match began, made it half way out in to no man's land behind some cover, turned around and proceeded to shoot in to the backs of the troops obliviously charging past me towards their objectives.

My gaming mates are all raving about this so am going to pick it up.
Does anyone know of a better price for the PS4 version than £42.29 from amazon?
That seems to be about the best price at the moment but they may all be keeping them high and waiting to amaze us with fantastic "black Friday" deals tomorrow Does anyone know of a better price for the PS4 version than £42.29 from amazon?
My main gripe is the issue of squadding up and how hard it is.
On the Xbox, they have xbox clubs which has made LFG'ing a million times easier.
Oh and the more you look at the menus/skins, you more you see EA readying up the micro transaction set up.
"buy this skin for 0.79p, or a battlepack for £1".
And also, once you've played a fair bit, its fairly hard to lose at operations. Have a group of 4 of you and you can do insanely well vs the unorganised masses.
Minor gripe that you can't repair a destroyed turret. The blimp on Hell/Ballroom Blitz is silly as there are no AA guns for the first two sets of points, and then only 6 on the map.
As a pilot in the blimp, if we have it from the first time it gets to 3 objectives, I instantly fly to all the AA guns and use the pilot bombs to destroy the guns. Then can freely move around the map without worrying about being shot down.
The rest of the time when defending, the joe public pilot, for some reason always ignores the AA guns and happily gets shot down in 5 mins time.
