Because like someone else already mentioned, this wasn't a cousin or a childhood friend. It was seemingly just some random bloke from the internet that he'd meet a couple of days previously. I certainly wouldn't have been repeatedly phoning him... I'd have just shrugged my shoulders and instantly forgot about it.
He'd spent several days with the guy, introduced him to his wife etc, it's not like he only spoke to him for a few minutes. If I was the OP I'd be concerned that I'd done something to upset him and would want to know if I had - I imagine most people would feel the same.

Several?

2 1/2 ish from the OP. I've had longer relationships with a pizza.

This thread is more cringe than the OP, who cares if someone doesnt like another bloke and makes a sharpish exit?

Why are you all making the trash explain himself? Ooo a bit of goss?

BSR i'm ashamed at you, now all of you, back to mumsnet and your macmillan coffee mornings.

I'm seeing the wife having a pivotal role in this sorry tale too.

Did she at any point mouth 'Help me' and look like she was crying inside?

I met Bert a few years ago when a few of us from here went paint-balling. He's a decent enough guy, from what I know of him.
I'm fairly sure that you spiked my drunk and touched me inappropriately in the toilets of that Birmingham bar.

But yeah, Polarbear is a sound bloke.

Think of it as a public service announcement, now other PH'ers will know not to let thetrash stay at their gaff, watch their TV, eat their food and fk their wife

Most cringeworthy thread I've ever seen by a fair margin. Trash, you're still not really giving any reasons for the sudden attempt to cut Bert off.

Come on trash and Polar, you are both here now, talk to each other not us, it's the only way you will sort out your relationship difficulties.

Just pretend we are not here.

I wasn't aware of that, apologies if we were - it was just a simple Google rather than super sleuth.
