[Fast Bug]

Did my first race last night, easy cash and easy to rank up. Had some fun afterwards with a dude in a chopper that started firing rockets at me until the police turned on me. He then followed me for ages blowing the police up that we're chasing me. Much better than previous online play

Was on the other day when a non-crew member decided to shoot out my tyres.

I crashed, got stuck, so returned fire. He drove back and forward shooting at me, with me firing back, until eventually his car blew up

Except, it was his personal car, and was insured, so I get stung 3k and get a bad sport warning

Which is a bit st.

Me and a friend got attacked earlier for no reason, I sticky a car in retaliation which was his which also blew up my friends and I got a dunce cap! Hilarious to be fair
But then my friend could not do jobs with me until he became a bad sport!?
And it's not like I blew his car intentionally - and you have to pay for it. Fair play if you didn't but it's insult to injury

Went on and was in my aparment went down to the garage and it was someone else's garage :s tried to get into one of the cars a fully modded entity xf and it worked!

Drove it out and then drove it back in and it appeared in my garage! Saved it went back and it's my car now went down got insurance.

So basically got an entity xf fully modded for free.

What's the etiquette for bounties?

Two randoms who I've never interacted with placed bounties on my head, so fked off sharpish.

I know they stay with you, but for how long?

As far as I'm concerned, I'd rather the money go to a PHer, so feel free to take me out!

Not sure how long they're active for, maybe 24 in-game hours so 48 minutes? Just play in an invite only game until it expires and claim the cash for yourself!

If I take a bounty from a pher I give them half.
sometimes even do that with randomers.
eta: and if I have a bounty please take it! (slaney! )

Scarble just had a look on the wiki and I recognise your name from last night!

I have found a love for messing around in helicopters! A buzzard is great fun especially if there is two of you!

Jumped in someone else Titan at the airport, then as it took off I noticed a buzzard on the helipad so I jumped out and parachuted a short way to the ground, I then looked up and saw the Titan turn in the air then come down into the buildings at the back of the airport!

Got that on my computer the other day, just had to close browser and re-open.

The great thing about having a co-pilot in the buzzard is they can fire the missiles with some accuracy at other players. It much harder to do as the pilot. A great way to hunt down bounties, esp if you share the winnings.

I'm more than happy to sit in either seat.

I had a race last night which I won, and the huy who lost sent me a message saying that if someone crashed you wait for them. That's jolly sporting of them, but I've never heard of that before? Is it just sour grapes?

Did he crash so badly he got a DNF? If you get DNF you get 0rp and 0$ when I'm racing with mates if one of us is going to DNF we do slow up a bit, we all finish in the same order but just make sure everyone crosses the line so that everyone makes a bit of wonga for their time.

However online with randoms that would never work.

yep i do that. also waiting at the end you can keep reversing and overtaking to up your RP even more

He didn't crash that badly, he finished about 10 seconds after me.

In a random QR, if I've a tap that's my fault, I'll lift off till the othehr person has caught up. Unless I've been knocked out on purpose, then anything goes.

Probably someone looking to have a few boost runs to gain RP/Cash etc. I find it lucky to even get into a race now as everytime i try a "quick race" i end up getting ushered into lobbies with people just wanting to race friends for boosting so end up getting kicked constantly. Normally takes about the 12th attempt to get into a lobby with all randoms. I try to host races on tracks other then Down the drain or criminal records but hardly get any joiners. It would be good to see more races like through the grapevine, dipping in and grand tour at full capacity as it's a right laugh. 16 player races are carnage!
I got put into a race the other night against 4 americans. Managed to shunt the host on the last bend on down the drain (where the bridge is) and he went flying into the river putting him in last and me nabbing 1st place i get a torrent of "kick x slanleeey x he isn't playing fair" and the usual "fag" comments over chat then subsiquently booted. it seems it's alright for them and their mates to do it so they can win a race each time but any random competition is apparently ruining their gameplay experience....

If it was my fault, then yeah I'd slow down for them. He hit another car whilst he was ahead so fair game in my book. Starting to enjoy the online play more now. I need to do some more missins as I'm only rank 8!
