just been online there and now getting really pissed off, clearly shooting people but then just fire and kill me straight away, only been happening since the update today, i now the comon ting people will be saying, internet connection, but thats fine, really getting my backup now, starting to think the aiming etc was as bad as killzone when released

I'm not having this problem. 
In fact, even with a red connection I'm absolutley raping people.
Had my first experience of COD multiplayer last night, first two games I just couldn't get into it. I found it very hard to figure out where/who the enemy where (was playing Team Deathmatch I think) and got a bit confused by the maps (one at the top of an office block, one in an afghan poppy field). Anyway I didn't do very well, no kills and lots of deaths The third map, Brazil, things picked up and I started being able to kill people, at one point I was in the lead ! Then everything got incredibly laggy and moving around the map became almost impossible.
Anyway, if there is room for another newbie - my PSN name is P_ESS_3_R0b. It would be great to get some games with players other than teenage americans and possibly to get some sort of tuition as to the best way to play this online.

Best thing to do is start up your own private game and just take 10 mins to wander round each map. The maps are a lot more complex this time with more hiding places. Try and view the kill cam when you get shot to get tips for where to take cover and lines of sight.
