True, but the posh fkers want more than just A,C,and D class! And to be able to actually get into a lobby! Lot of people on FM.net complaining of the same thing. Hopefully it will be OK by the proper launch date.

Tried online play earlier, and the only hoppers I saw were a C class with no collisions, for beginners,a D and A clss,a drift,a drag and a Tag one. But couldn't get into any. So hopefully the lack of decent mulytttiplayer is down to day one glitches, but if that is all there is then they have really fked up multiplayer
Don't forget that the only people playing it are the ones that paid loads for the ultimate edition, most people will probably just get the normal version.kowalski655 said:

I'm a posh fker too, I'm using the time to get on top of the handling (which I am doing pretty quickly) and to bash out the career. I got 5 mil credits and a load of free cars for my troubles in previous games so I got a bit of a leg up there.Plenty of classic Fords too, Capri, MK1/2 Escort, Lotus Cortina, Fiesta XR2 - I'm a happy man.
Enjoying it so far! For the guy who asked about drifting a few pages back. Its good, a lot more delicate, you cant just throw it in a correct like FH2 or Fm4 you have to use throttle control and transitioning can be quite a challenge, but its good, very good infact glad its presented a new challenge.
The BAC mono is a dream!

^ Sounds good. Is it do-able with a controller?
I'd love a proper wheel, 3 pedal and gear setup but can't justify the cost for 1 game!
Is the Mk1 Escort only available on the early release?
And is it possible to do a Cosworth RWD Fiesta?
Going to make a move to next gen and get myself an XB1.

After a couple of hours over two nights
- it looks superb
- car handling is a lot twitchier than Horizon 2 (my only Forza point of reference) though nowhere near as much as Project Cars
- you can't get away with bouncing off other cars or obstacles/barriers, more likely to end up facing backwards
- Bernese Alps circuit + Renault Alpine = great
- Veyron = stupidly fast, corners appear before you know it. I think I'll come back to this car when I've a bit more practice
- Wet circuits are challenging but a shame there is no dynamic weather or night/day. IIRC there wasn't enough processing grunt to do everything so they went with this.
- Despite having spent £81 I can see me getting a lot of play out of this - though I won't be retiring from Horizon 2

Picture of an Alpine paint I'm working on for the Lotus E23
Now, do I share this as it is, or put some Alpine LMP2 sponsors on it (Here maps, B.R.M., Sparco), or some Lotus F1 sponsors on it (Microsoft, PDVSA, Richard Mille)?
Whaddyathink?
It does look cool as is but I suppose some LMP2 sponsors won't hurt Now, do I share this as it is, or put some Alpine LMP2 sponsors on it (Here maps, B.R.M., Sparco), or some Lotus F1 sponsors on it (Microsoft, PDVSA, Richard Mille)?

On the off chance anyone is looking for info about wheels, I have reviewed the G920 and Fanatec Clubsport: http://arstechnica.com/gaming/2015/09/getting-to-g...
