For me soldier of fortune 1 and 2. The game was so clever for its time, blowing individual limbs off!
Soldier of fortune 2 was my first multiplayer game, and it was brilliant, i remember playing once and randomly shooing and killing someone. Such a shame it was a great game.

Really pleased to see Xiii has been remastered on the Xbox. I dusted off my old original Xbox to play this again (about 10 years back), must get this now

this also ... imagine a massive sand(snow)box SSX3 type game... they did re-boot it on PS3 if I remember... but don't think it was successful...
I might be wrong but I think the game STEEP is exactly that. Its a big open world game set in a mountain range, pretty much go anywhere, ski/snowboard

Just looked this up as I remember the original game, reviews for the remake are not good, most ratings are 1/5.

I’m going for it anyway

I suspect ratings are from either young gamers that don’t realise how games were or from rose tinted spec. I might be in the latter but I’m going to get it

I even got it running on my 360 so it’s a game I do like

Some folk liked it and many murdered it and said stick to the original version. Let us know how you get on with it.

Will do

I tend to ignore things like that or rotten tomatoes, the only time that backfired was when I went to see a brief wrinkle in time

spy vs spy

Spent all your time trying to set up traps for people and forgot why you were playing the game.

The XIII remake was universally panned by reviewers whose opinions I have some trust in. Performance issues and dicking about with some of the stylistic stuff.

Tony Hawks Underground 1 & 2
I’ve been smashing the remake of Tony Hawks Pro Skater 1& 2 for the last couple of weeks and it is BRILLIANT. Takes me back to my youth - sitting with my younger brother setting up my PS1 and my parents looking over my 12ish year old shoulder, making sure it didn’t have swear words or violence in it biggrin

Great remake.

Completely agree with the suggestions of The Getaway, that was such a great game! Pretty impressive what they achieved with PS2 tech too

Damn, I had literally forgotten that existed! Forza seemed to supplant it as the Xbox signature racing series I think.

Great game. Number 2 was even better. Just the perfect sweet spot of arcadey/realism.

Literally just this morning in the car doing a Gatwick run (first time in over a year) thinking... Wipeout would be bloody brilliant if it was updated.

Oh yes! The last one had an epic snowy Nürburgring if I recall correctly. Great games.

Auto Modellista with a decent handling model would be great. Such a cool looking racing game, just no fun to play.
