I'm going to give GTAO another shot tonight. I've exhausted most options in the single player but when I tried GTAO last year it felt pretty poor and generally was like most other online experiences where you start with nothing, get killed a lot by dheads and don't really progress well at all.

Without going back 200 pages can you let me know what it's like today and if starting from the bottom is something even worth doing?

Definitely, I've only been playing for about two months. I've had quite a bit of help from folks round here and I'm doing pretty well now.

Online is leagues better than offline!
Yes, you get the idiots that just want to kill you on sight, but they can soon be dealt with or just go into passive mode and they ps off.
Racing and messing around online with the PH crew is what makes the game so much better and much more fun

Join the crew for some playlists of racing, try not to take it seriously and you'll be golden. Some missions are fun to run through too, but be prepared to witness just how hopeless some of us are!

I won't be back on until the update comes on Wednesday, but there should be a weekend with the special playlist for extra stuff afterwards. We should totally try and do that as a crew. We should also run some playlists with the new cars too, if they're available.

Which Crew is the current one as I'm in the 300+ member one already as PH-Ved. I'll be on once the daughter is asleep in bed around 8ish.
