I've gotta stop looking at the pics for this otherwise I'm going to hype it up so much it is bound to be a disappointment.
How can it possibly be a dissapointment? It has no refuelling, Michael Schumacher returning, Button and Hamilton in the same team, Alonso in a Ferrari, Senna finally in F1. All the ingredients for exciting races. How could that fail to be exciting.......?

.......Oh Wait! paperbag

I agree it's great isn't it. As much as I enjoy rFactor the pull of a good F1 game in HD on a proper console is still best. I can't wait until we have a full season online on the new F1 2010. In fact I'd love to do one on F1 CE if we had enough interest leading up to the new game

Looks very promising! I like the fact Davidson is on board as technical advisor.

Count me in for a Championship with CE. See how many would be interested.

that rain does look pretty impressive, lets just hope that it makes a difference in the handling stakes, if your on the wrong tyre for instance

It should do, they say they are factoring in marbles, blisters, flat spots and stuff like the track being "green" on the friday morning.

And why are they always driven from the point of view of a chair positioned 30ft up in the air behind the car?

because what they haven't announced yet is that it's only compatable with a mouse

This is going to seem, incredibly out of context, but if one person sympathsises with me I'll be happy.

Me and my brother grew up together not just as best mates, or brothers, but as biggest gaming rivals known to each of us. Whoever was best at a certain Senna GP track, would need to be beaten...through all the Gran Turismo's, currently on rFactor, and also ALL of the F1 games...

Is it not slightly annoying, we had F1 games of nearly every year, except the years my brother actually raced in it lol... no F1 2007, or 2008...Of all those years playing games and attending Ant's races, the biggest goal seemed to be wanting to see him in one of the F1 games, not F1 itself!

Instead, he was one of the developers.

It won't be a simulator, but as he said, it's the best racing game he's ever played. We'll just have to appreciate it for what it is...

Edit: Old clip I'm sure, but...
