The Mrs is as work tonight. I'm sure she's in contact with Bungie in some kind of conspiracy to ensure my play time is kept to the absolute bare minimum as either PSN or Bungie servers seem to be down whenever she's not about!

Not really fussed about the emblem. It is only the completion-ist in me that wants to nail all of the requirements. I just need a couple of chests. smile

This emblem is a microcosm of the entire game. heheshoot

I reckon it's so that they can check the accuracy of that Triumph wheel amongst other things. I most definitely have not won 100 Crucible matches, not even close according to the Destiny Tracker web site (57 games played, 24 won) yet the wheel thing says that I have confused

A lot of the usuals are busy playing Rocket League in light of the Bungie issues. Looks fun! Free on PSN+ at the mo.

Whilst Destiny is down, I was looking at the VoG weapons list and aside from the Vex, I have all the hard mode weapons but I'm missing 3 of the normal mode weapons namely Atheon's Epligoue, Found Verdict and Hezen Vengeance.

Others have talked about FV being a good one, but looks like Hezen V would also be a useful addition to the armoury (I don't have a decent solar rocket launcher). Instead of HM, how about a NM run sometime to try and score either of those weapons? I would imagine it would be quite quick run. (I'm not bothered by Epliogue, but I still enjoy taking the big guy down)

Normal mode weapons also drop in hard mode (unlike in Crota's End), I don't think your chances of dropping them are any different in hard mode, so best to run hard mode only?

Found Verdict is extremely useful in PoE and quite useful in Crucible - its range isn't top tier (which is why it's not as good in Crucible) but its rate of fire is the best there is (great for one-shotting PoE enemies as they spawn out of the doors).

Plus it has 6 rounds and is arc, so excellent for unshielded enemies, arc burn/secondary weapon rounds and Fallen Captains.

Hezen Vengeance is not used by anyone I've ever come across, despite it being widely available for months. Hunger of Crota, Radegasts and Gjallarhorn seem to be the choice solar rocket launchers.

Normal Mode weapons can drop in HM VoG, yes, though I have also heard it theorised that as HM has a bigger loot pool it does make some drops less frequent than they would have been on NM. (That's also likely why it took me so long to get my hands on Vision of Confluence).

Found Verdict is a must as far as I'm concerned - at 300 attack it's an excellent weapon, ascended to 365 it's the best legendary PvE shotgun in the game. No, the range isn't quite as good as some PvP specific rolls, but in terms of sheer damage output it is almost unmatched.

Hezens is a very decent launcher. I've never been a big fan of Hunger of Crota, as the cluster missiles so rarely do anything to your target. Hezen's mini-mirvs are much more consistent at causing additional damage, though with the caveat that it has neither tracking nor proximity detonation so requires a sure aim to make the initial contact.

That was more my thinking. If there is a bigger loot table in hard mode, then the chances of getting a specific normal mode weapon are diluted a bit?? And if you are only after a specific normal mode weapon, why make it harder?

I can't quite remember what mode my 2nd VoC and Correctives dropped, but the first of each was certainly in normal mode (same run through)

Oh well, if anyone fancies it I guess, I'd be up for it to test the theory smile

Fair point, but as it's starting to be almost bizarre the lack of rocket launchers I pick up through rewards / engrams, etc, I'd take anything I can get. I've only got two legendary launchers and I had to buy both of those.

Bit like how I now have the Pocket Infinity bounty at the disable 10 rare or above fusion rifles stage and I've had only one drop since, whereas they were two a penny before ...

I simply went to the gunsmith and purchased 10 rare fusion rifles to complete this bit. Keep your eye on his inventory.

Yep, I check from time to time, but that's also a lot of glimmer to do that

*Googles microcosm* Thanks Singh! A word I didn't know.

Sims and Youngsy are right about Hezen's. More of a collector's rather than really useful.

Play some more PvP Moog. Weapons drop fairly regularly and you get the opportunity for Ash Factory and Uppercut Payload.

I need glimmer (again!) so don't mind doing a normal for Gatekeeper's.

I had a run at the crucible yesterday but unsurprisingly got mauled. I've never been very good at pvp and the next lowest level guy was 22 compared to my 8 smile.

I'll give it another go once I've levelled up a bit.

Does anyone fancy a VoG Hard run when Destiny is back up in 20 minutes or so?

Your armour might be relevant, but your level isn't in regular Crucible. You should be on a relatively level playing field in that regard, but I'm no Crucible expert by any means
