on a more serious note the gentleman's agreement is there for a reason so will be stiffer penalties if you cause an accident and then just drive off.

I don’t see why the banning of cars should be extended, in fact I would ideally like it dropped – why does the ban exist for 2 seasons? It sounds very specific – just wondering.
I thought it was to stop you winning every single bloody race hehe

I quite like the idea of limiting the use of a given car to possibly just one or two times a season. Combined with no ban of used cars in following seasons, allows everyone the opportunity to use something like the 111r without such a car dominating the whole season; also allows everyone to bring their best possibly car to each track.

Don't like the ideas of driver systems etc, or minimum weight rules unless we are returning to quicker wear rates. Could possibly try pp decreases for top 3 and pp increase for the bottom 3 to level out the field?

This may be a little commi-left wing but could possibly change the amount of cars used per season to just 1 car and making people tune it according to the track. Gives a sense of strategy in terms of which tracks you focus your car choice on, one person may choose to focus on winning at monza and lemans, but would struggle more so at the likes of Rome. But this idea may only work below c600pp. However, such an idea does allow for more variation, if one season is assigned to (for example) pre 79 cars, as the older stuff doesn't seem to get alot of use even though they're great fun on SH or lower. Just a thought as my experience of these series is only this season and the last, so this my have already been airred before an I'm just chatting jibber jabber!!

Personally, I'm rather happy with the rules and regulations this season, as besides F1 the places behind have been very mixed

550PP and Apricot Hill Reverse. Another 40PP up and loads of cars can be competitive at that level. AHR is a great track and a bit more challenging to get a good lap in. Wouldn't mind seeing the Nordschleife either, but on a daytime, no rain basis smile

Going on from what Josh said you could have a limit of 2 cars per season or 3 if it was longer. I also like the idea of a certain class of car for a season.

I would also like 550 pp or more. I hope that racing tyres aren't used, they aren't needed. I would also prefer sport hard tyres, but sport softs are fine at higher pp.

I know we regularly used slicks for higher pp levels, I wouldn't like to return to that.

Simplicity is important, but I worry at the arbitrary nature of the proposed rules.

Even the two-season ban is rather arbitrary, and having a maximum car use is even stranger.

I would personally like the minimum car usage scaled back to only 2 events, allowing people to use a car more often than other selected cars. I also think the car banning shouldn’t be extended; it should be reduced to 1 season. This wouldn’t be too restrictive, and would actually suit people who might not enter every race or season – it would give them the ability to return to cars they like and just show up on an evening.

There are already championships out there with excessive restrictions on car choice, banned cars etc – the freedom and purity has been great in the production series.

But plenty of other people won under the old rules; Tron won, Carmo won, Colin won and Viper also won. So other people did definitely win! wink
