When you 'add' friends on Battlelog there is an option to import all your origin friends. Just odd that there isn't the option the other way around, not that I take any notice of origin anyway.

Does anyone here record any of their games? Ive been looking for a free alternative to FRAPs, but none of them seem to work. I've seen Gregion and a couple of others, but they don't work.

MSI Afterburner seems to work well. It records video and audio for free and I find it less intensive on the system too so framerates stay up . . . although I have only done very short recordings in the odd game.

Tried it, seems good, but mine is not recording sound, and I can't see any options on sound in the menu. I'm probably being blind!

Try this beta version to record audio, mine says it expires in a few days but a new updated verion will probably be out soon. It's completely free anyway, sure beats paying £25 to record with fraps.

Recently I've been using Fraps set to record 60fps at native resolution, which seems to be working pretty well. The only downside is I've yet to master the art of compressing it to an upload friendly size without significantly hampering the quality.

Mucking about on Metro earlier in glorious slo-mo on with the hud disabled - it's also a nightmare trying to figure out who's on your team with the hud off!

I posted this on the general BF3 forum but I got no response. I was hoping you lovely people here could comment.

Is anybody still getting glitches with this game.

My gun keeps getting reset to the basic gun for that class and I'm still finding a massive problem with invisible enemies and disappearing sights. I was lagging like hell but my ping was 13. This happens every night after about 8:30 and as I play from 7-10 most evenings this always puts a downer on the end of an otherwise OK night (by my own average standards)

And before you say it, I well and truly beat the requirements for this game with both hard wear and internet connection.

Also I had experienced a problem with either a major glitch or cheat in a server last night. It was Damavand Peak and every time I spawned I instantly died. No pause just click deploy "dead".

One of the deaths I experienced was a sniper killed me from B all the way through the tunnel through a concrete wall while I was at D with a pistol, again, instantly.

I suspect cheat - aholes

No, no problems here. I must just be lucky, as I've not really had any problems at all with this game. Had a few the first couple of days, but the first patch fixed it all for me.

don't have the problems you've been getting with your main issue. Though never a smooth experience I have never had actual in game issues like that, just crashes. Try patching it again.

As for that sniper thing. I have had that on a couple of servers but this morning someone really took the mickey. He sniped me dead and blew my tank up without ever leaving the spawn area for the russians on Kharg. And I was still in the spawn area for the US. He wasn't exactly denying his hack either, first he was called haccii and second when confronted he was actually quite proud of how good his hack was.
So I've reported him.
The hacks on this seem even more unfair than on COD:MW at least on that it was mostly just auto aim or spot. On this one it spots and kills from across a huge map.

I've yet to experience any glitching/crashing problems in 8hours or so,(sure it's only a matter of time) so I can't help with that unfortunately.

However, I did once experience the spawn-instant kill lark. I would spawn in the US deployment, then instantly get killed by a single headshot from a guy with an RPK machinegun over the other side of the map (can't remember which map but it was a BIG map). It happened 5 times in a row, as I was trying to work out what was going on, then I just switched servers.

No idea what satisfaction they get out of doing that.

Watching back recorded footage reveals a plethora of shocking mistakes and obvious thing's I've missed, unfortunately - and that's not including the "hey, you're not on my team after all...". segments that arose after taking the hud off.
