Personally, I think a little craziness could sow some carnage, but after the last game, reckon some tactics and planning are needed.
How about a halfway house?
Agreed, air and tank teams would be good, as would organised perks for each squad to get the maximum benefit.
I'd suggest that the match on sunday is a dry run against relatively equal opposition, as the game in the week, whilst educational, was difficult to pick out real shortcomings in our approach.
The missus is out later, so will be on for some practice - shall I change our server settings to match the game planned for Sunday?

We have the 12 and you should all now be able to see the match in your matches in the in game Multiplayer menu. I think you need to access the game via this.
Match goes live 7.30 and will start once we all hit 'ready'.

Bugger.
Really enjoyed that, on the rush defending game I fully ran out of ammo as assault, and got my best streak! Once out of ammo I charged around reviving people.
The swarms on Metro were awesome, reckon I should have loaded smoke instead of m320, and struggling to see the point of the delayed m320 rounds.
Really need to sort out my bluetooth headset - the ps3 says it's connected but it doesn't work in game.
Is there a way I could connect with my desire HD and have it on speaker? Shirley there's an app for that?!
I'm away for work until Thursday, but happy to try and arrange something, hotel wifi dependant.

Totally agree, warm up should be about getting in the zone a bit. Proper tactics should kept well under wraps. Would defo be up for a rematch, but I really am feeling the loss of my turtle beaches - they're just not built well enough for the cash though.

Although I agree we all played well last night, I think we would benefit from dedicated rolls, but also having dedicated adapters. I like to continuously adapt, but somtimes you can't do it fast enough, so need the dedicated guy next to you to deal with it.
On most maps each squad should run all classes except recon. The fourth should be assault for infantry heavy maps, and engi for vehicle heavy maps.
Medics should try and hang back a little, if you buddy gets popped, you can revive him from cover. If he gets popped again, try and kill matey, then revive your mate.
If your squad plays properly, they should suppress/kill him whilst you revive him.
I'm no battlefield god, but I think lots of small things help.

pexy, not sure if it was on metro when I had an intimate moment with my m249.. There were other amusing moments but it's all abit of a blur. Was cracking fun though.
Agree with all that, think there's benefit having pure medics and assault medics on infantry maps - the assault medic running m320 and defib.
Smoke is also pretty bloody effective when attacking on rush, so that's something to consider.
Lastly, good use of squad perks would help - challenge is to set it all up prior to the match, and ensure people are in the right squads come kickoff.
Off the back of last night, I do reckon we'd have a much better chance against the top boys through more effective planning, but the difficulty as always is the balance between fun and competitiveness.

Won't be able to make that one, I'll be landing at Southampton airport about ten minutes before after being away all week. The missus is only accommodating up to a point!
Sounds awesome though, good pick of map.
I've got no WiFi, and only reasonable phone signal for t'interweb, so I'll try and arrange a match for next week when I'm home over the weekend.

I actually like the principle more than softcore, but some wierd ideas in how it should be implemented, and the issues I have in seeing the world of colour, mean I really don't think I'll ever gel with it.

Lemming, when are you up for indoctrinating me into hardcore. I'll read between the lines and assume you want me as bullet magnet. That's ok, its a role I play well in softcore too!
Gutted I can't play tomorrow, but will organise a match for next weekend.
May try to get agreement on a modified softcore to suit the hardcore lovers...
