Nowhere near a 2.07 anything in a number of cars......!! mid 2.09's for me. Not sure weight is the main problem - thought a bigger standard tyre width would be best but hasn't helped - 7% tyre wear a lap too - thought at least if I was slow I could make up the difference by stopping less... but thats not the case either!!

The Sierra I tried out was ok on drags, not quick though but I managed a mid 2.09 with it after they warmed up.
Same here but with a 155 q4. Never raced on drag tyres before, took some getting used to I must have span out every dam corner when they were cold! Improve a hell of a lot once warm, but still not as much grip as the slicks. Tried a E36 M3, wasn't much quicker but felt easier to drive. Not as hard on the tyres either. Not sure what to pick now!
Maybe try messing around with the tyre pressures as cars can handle well on drags if set up right. Also makes racing better, as when the wear kicks in you can be up to 2 seconds a lap slower. So makes pit stops strategic, instead of all jumping in the pits on the second lap and essentially hot lapping to win the race.
