The T300 is fine on a wheelstand pro at my desk although I do use G25 pedals not the T300 pedals. Can't see that making a massive difference though.

Been a while since I posted here – great to see people talking about the game!

(disclosure: I work at SMS)

For the person asking about T300RS and the Wheel Stand Pro: that's the setup I use at home for PC. I've also got the TH8A gearshift, and the T3PA pedals. Great little setup. Whole heap of fun.

I think someone was talking about the Playseat Challenge earlier. I almost got one of those myself, but it's not compatible with the TH8A. No deal for me!

To clarify on release dates:

- Global PC Steam launch is 6th May
- EU console (not UK) is 7th May
- UK console is 8th May
- US console is 12th May

We wanted a global simultaneous release, but, um... it didn't quite happen. Ah well.

Any other questions: let me know, and I'll do my best to get you answers.

dont get why UK is later than the rest of the EU as this is the first ive ever seen the UK being different

Ahem... alleged glitch.

I don't really have a lot to add just now, but that's not as evasive as it sounds. I'm on the Production / Management side of the company (as opposed to anything more technical), and have been busy catching up today after a couple of days off ill at the tail end of last week. All I've got to go on right now is the same thread that everyone else is reading.

And my reading of the thread is that there isn't a confirmed issue yet. People from our Render team have asked for more evidence to see if there is actually an issue. If there is, or if there's something worth investigating, then we'll do so. We'd be mental not to!

But the headline on the site that links to the NeoGaf thread does seem to be clickbait. We haven't admitted that the game is bugged on release (although, realistically, there ain't no such thing as bug-free software); we have said that we'll look into the issue to see if there is actually an issue. And that's fair enough.

Bank Holiday. The rest of the EU has a Bank Holiday on Friday 8th. The UK doesn't. Simple as that.

Hi first off, thanks for taking racing games on consoles to another level. Really looking forward to this on my Xbox

My question is I just watched a video on YouTube from the VVV guy, he was tinkering with the field of view which looks a great addition to get it just right. If you set the field of view really wide and get one of those HDMI things which spreads the signal across 3 screens could I have a 3 screen set up like some of the other videos on YouTube?

yup but thanks for the quick response also regarding the glitch, i dont think there is one because ive watched a few streamers on Twitch who have been playing the promo copies with no issues at all

I clamp it to my desk and it can just about cope lol

I have the T300 installed on a cheap stand at the moment (which looks less sturdy than a wheelstand pro) and it copes with the FFB no problem (maybe its my powerful director type build....).

As I said the most annoying part is not being able to get the pedals comfortable. Also the main stem for the wheel is a little long as standard - it looks like the Wheelstand pro has more adjustment.

Just for comparison, I have a Fanatec V2 Clubsport on a Wheelstand Pro and it's fine. Then again, I don't run silly levels of force feedback, I've been steadily reducing it for quite a while to just under 10% now (that's on iRacing).

I find it slightly concerning that someone who actually works for the developer can't dismiss unequivocally what looks like a massive issue with the game if true

I have a playseat challenge and use the th8a on it, very very simple to attaching, I just needed a couple of u bolts and a L bracket, cost a few quid but it's spot on, seriously great setup I think, and I use it with a t3pa pro too. All of this gear was bought for pCARS, I've booked Friday, Monday and Tuesday off work too. I think ny first lap is going to be a lotus 49 at laguna seca.

Not sure which version to get! I have ps4 and xbox one, but have wheel set up for the xbox for forza. I have read that the ps4 is going to be slightly better visually, but is it really going to be noticeable? I don't want to have to get new wheel for ps4, but will if its going to be worth it. I will be playing on a 150" screen. Also it's the madcatz wheel I have for xbox, is it compatible as some conflicting info on web? Cheers.

My PS4 digital pre-order also shows (as of right now) 1day 14hrs left in the timer and a release date of the 7th. So I guess UK digital version is live before the hard copy disc goes on sale?
