Sony have an agreement with all the big high-street game distributors that they can't sell the game for cheaper as a download then you can buy as physical copy. Silly I know but they have to keep them sweet as the majority of people still buy physical copies.

Can't wait to have a go at this tonight/tomorrow. I ordered the standard edition but I am embarrassed to say for the first time ever I ordered the Ultimate Edition and cancelled my old copy. Never in my life have I paid nearly as much for a game but given I still play old versions regularly I thought it would be worth the splurge to have the Seasons pass!

Despite only having 1 map I must have played the Beta for hours and hours!

I'm on PS4 by the way.

Up early for work anyway so set the alarm an hour ahead and had a go this morning (headphones on!).

Campaign so far is great, tries very hard to tell a story and make characters personal. Setting is refreshing and looks stunning, very atmospheric.

I'm pretty sure Ultimate is Early Enlisted plus Premium content. Thus basically £70 plus £40.

obvs not

do now though

but just had another thought disc vs online download .....soo disc is cheaper ...plus has re sale value ...download is more expensive and it burnt cash as 0 re sale ....still don't get it apart from convenience....if download was cheaper ...it would yield more cash for the game producer as most would buy download and there would be no 2nd hand mkt

My BF1 / Origin Handle is 'Mudgey', unpredictably... anybody need a team mate to play then your welcome to add me.

Got a couple of hours in last night and the game is fantastic, graphics are good and the game play mechanics feel right, but after having a few years off BF games in general I am a bit rusty with the ol' trigger fingers. Had a few good runs as a tank driver and was lucky enough to be in the right place/right time to pick up the Sentinel kit with the machine gun and my god was that fun.

All in all I think its a refreshing change from the modern warfare games and I can see my time spending a good few hours playing this.

Looks like my copy is being shipped today, so with luck it will arrive tomorrow... I trust the PS4 servers will be live tomorrow?

People on my friends list playing it last night on MP so guess so. Im going to go through single player first before playing MP. In the few days itll take to do hopefully a couple of patches will come out and sort it

I used to so I could sell them after.

Now we have 2 xboxes in our house we just buy 1 download so we can all play the same game simultaneously on both xboxes. Downloads are fantastic for sharing libraries between xboxes. You can't do it with disks unless you buy 2 disks.

You don't even need to be in the same house to do it either. I think loads of friends share libraries with each other, only buying one download. You just make one Xbox your home Xbox and log in with the main account on the other one. Then all purchases get shared between them.
