Okay, here's me. Take from it what you will.

- My T300RS is the PC / PS4 version.
- I do not have a PS4.
- I have an XB1.
- I'll be playing XB1 with a control pad.
- Even though I've got a brilliant excuse to get one, I'm not buying a PS4. I'm sticking with XB1.

The XB1 does version look lovely. It's running at an ever-so-slightly lower res than the PS4 (900p vs 1080p), but that's pretty much all. If you've already got a wheel for your XB1, I'd stick with that. Perhaps play the PS4 version round a mate's house, see if there's anything in it for you.

ps - a 150" screen?! That's proper.

Does this game have car modding (cosmetic and performance) and open/closed street racing?

Thanks for the reply. Think I will stick with the xbox for now then. It's the madcatz force feedback wheel and I think they only do the one wheel for xbox one so it looks like the one on your list I think.

no modding as such i believe, only tweeking car setups. In theory being a pure racing game each car will have the best parts fitted.

That's right. For the sort of game we're trying to be, it's more about driving skill than trying to maximise your car's performance within a given tier. Cars that are supposed to be competitive with each other within a given class already are. There's a slew of tweaking / setup options if you're so inclined.

Theoretically how much lap time can be added with tweaking?

If it's a chunk, I hope there's a "no tweaks" option available in online races. As much as I love tweaking to the nth degree for race series, sometimes I just want to pick up and play in the evenings, knowing I'm not being beaten due to setup, but that actually a 12 year old girl is genuinely faster than me

So suspension angles/rates, brake balance, gearing, down force stuff like that? to tweak the car to the track.

Any idea's if there will be a preload available on steam? Nothing worse than getting home from work ready for a new game and then watch it download as steam decides it won't activate until 18:30.

Mate - just get an old car seat and mount it on some wood. I can show you how!!
