I live in Switzerland they don't seem to care about release dates too much

Didnt they do this last year and then reset everyones stats to make it 'fair' on release day?

I had my first proper online session yesterday evening. The Operations mode is great - games can last over an hour and you really feel like it is a long ongoing battle as you fall back to the next rally point.

Graphically the game is stunning, some of the alpine maps remind me of the BF1942 Expansion pack The Road To Italy.

Bolt action rifle with iron sights remains by weapon of choice (and feels a bit over powered to be honest).

My BF1 / Origin Handle is 'Mudgey', unpredictably... anybody need a team mate to play then your welcome to add me.

Got a couple of hours in last night and the game is fantastic, graphics are good and the game play mechanics feel right, but after having a few years off BF games in general I am a bit rusty with the ol' trigger fingers. Had a few good runs as a tank driver and was lucky enough to be in the right place/right time to pick up the Sentinel kit with the machine gun and my god was that fun.

All in all I think its a refreshing change from the modern warfare games and I can see my time spending a good few hours playing this.
Several connotations but no 'Mudgey'...add me as Foobes. Can be found during the daytime and some evenings

Same here, Amazon copy also dispatched. Half day Friday. Looking forward to it.

I would add myself to the ps4 wiki but dont want to screw up the formatting as I'm on a phone at the moment.

Kirbyc2 on ps if anyone wants to add me.

Oh, I didn't know that existed. Mind I wouldn't pay an extra £20 for a few days early access

Does that get you the session pass as well?

Some retailers, Simply Games and Shopto being the main culprits, send out copies fairly early. I received my standard version yesterday. smile

I had a little play last night, the start sequence is absolutely stunning.
Isn't it just. Appreciate this may sound a bit ghey, but it actually touched a nerve. So much so that I plan to actually play the campaign which I've never really done on a BF game. It's rare for games to stir the emotions with me.

That aside, it is stunning and plays really, really well. smile
