As its going to be hard enough doing deliveries while avoiding random tts, it would be nice if it ends up being a rarity of only crew in a public lobby that people would be left to do their deliveries. I'd be really fked off if someone from the crew destroyed it!
Yeah, imagine... Bob, Cheshire - you're on the list djdest said:

Quite often i have ended up in a public lobby by myself, usually after finishing a job or something like that. There may be a way to 'glitch' into a public lobby. and then we can make the deliveries in peace.
I can understand why R* dont want this option in a private session as it can be a bit of a money earner.
Did anyone find out what the max number of people you can have in our organisation? this will help with a succesful public lobby delivery
I'd guess we'd leave each other alone unless challenger is goading us to come blow him up, much like the crew VIP sessions .
I didn't get much of a chance to play the delivery stuff last night but it seems like a lot of work for the money. I guess you could do it while on cool down from the VIP work, which makes contact missions pretty much obsolete.
I liked the new truck driving VIP job but I just like driving trucks.

Theres not much in it if you are an employee. but plenty if you are the employer.I didn't get much of a chance to play the delivery stuff last night but it seems like a lot of work for the money. I agree about doing this in between VIP missions, but then you still need to be in a public lobby!
Don't forget thought that you get the delivery reward multiplied depending on how many people are in the lobby!
That links to what I said yesterday, if all crew online join the same public lobby you could hope to end up with it being just crew members left eventually and get a decent payout.
Eg. there were just 4 crew members in the public lobby last night

Its not a multiplier, just a factor. That links to what I said yesterday, if all crew online join the same public lobby you could hope to end up with it being just crew members left eventually and get a decent payout.

I sold 80K worth of stock when there was more than 10 of us. final payout was 91K.

You know what, it's starting to feel like having another job playing GTA. All the graft to earn some dollars to pay some bills.
I reckon what would be most fun is getting a lobby half full of us lot and then blowing up everyone elses Ill gotten gains!
that might be quite money spinning.... I reckon what would be most fun is getting a lobby half full of us lot and then blowing up everyone elses Ill gotten gains!

That's why I stopped doing the dailys and car farming, started to feel like too much of a chore. I don't mind grinding VIP stuff every now and again to keep my balance up though.Ive done a little research online regarding the public sessions.
Ideally what i want to achieve is what we had last night: a 'Public' session filled with (mostly) friendly crew members, this gives us a good opportunity to team up and run the CEO cargo missions/VIP missions.
To get into a public session by your self you need to throttle your internet connection. Public lobbies that are heavily populated require a larger exchange of data, there is all the voice chat, character movements, AI in relation to the characters (police etc) and people leaving and joining.
If your connection is throttled then you will be put onto a 'quieter' server i.e. a public lobby by yourself. switching your router off wont work, this disconnects you completely. what you want to do is limit your connection enough so that you are still connected but the connection speed is low.
When GTA first came out there were connection issues related to NAT type and everyone went about setting this to open. Apparently setting this to 'strict' will throttle the connection and give you the result of a solo public lobby. - This info has come from 'Masterage' on Reddit and I don't know how reliable this info is.
I wont get a chance to test this until the weekend, but I'll spend some time seeing what i can do to achieve getting into a public lobby on my own.
I welcome peoples thoughts on this.
