Not had a chance to try it yet, but I've wanted/needed a decent auto-rifle and seen as though I missed out on the Suros Regime, this will have to do. Perks seem naff and the reviews are mixed but I am happy enough.

I got that the other day from the nightfall good rate of fire but doesn't hit very hard, I then got this from Atheon in VOG so the auto hasn't got a look in!

My next exotic bounty is for a pulse rifle.

I'm jealous of the pulse rifle exotic bounty. I prefer those over all others.

Bad Juju is crap though, so don't be too jealous. I don't think I've had a decent gun from those bounties. There are some lovely exotics, but the vault legendaries are generally better, especially the primary weapons with elemental damage.

1 Obtain a Damaged Ghost from Venus' Shattered Coast.


2 Kill a Vex Gate Lord in a heroic story mission to obtain Restored Ghost.

3 Bring the schematics to the Gunsmith to obtain Depleted Exotic Weapon Core.

4 Dismantle 10 rare or higher quality Fusion Rifles to obtain Charged Exotic Weapon Core.

5 Bring the cores to the Gunsmith to obtain Unstable Prototype Fusion Rifle Frame.

6 Kill 200 enemies in Weekly Nightfall Strike activities using any Fusion Rifle to obtain Stabilized Prototype.

7 Bring the prototypes to the Gunsmith to obtain Pocket Infinity.

Vision of Confluence is my favourite weapon in the game so far (I've got about 25 legendary/exotics) - it has a great rate of fire, decent power (when fully upgraded), does extra damage to Oracles in the Raid and best of all does solar damage as a primary, so you can strip wizard, witch and cabal shields with your primary weapon.

Unfortunately Destiny seems to know I like it - so far it has given me 3 of them in the Raid, even though it's the weapon I use to complete the Raid in the first place!

I really want to get Aetheon's Epilogue - it's an auto rifle that does void damage - extremely useful in the Raid and almost a necessity for doing the Raid on level 30.

That'd be a fusion rifle then, not a pulse rifle

That's the only Raid primary I've bagged so far, not really an auto-rifle man, but it is very good for the raid and perfect against those skinny Cabal bhes with their void shields.

I am at level 28 with my Titan but need about 20 shards to get any higher so it's getting to be real grind now as shards aren't easy to obtain, not in those quantities anyway.

I've started a second character to see if that will prolong my interest. It's amazing how easy it is to level up the second time round when you know what you are doing, I got to level 6 within an hour.

Don't worry about levelling up your current gear unless it's an exotic helmet.

Reason being is that you're going to have to replace your current legendary gloves, chest and boots for Raid gear to get to level 30 in any case.

Start saving shards now and getting ready for the Raid (watch videos, read walk throughs, get a legendary void sniper and HMG as levelled up as possible) and if you're around on Friday evening I'll invite you to my next run through.

I'm on tonight... VoG is scary though as I'm only just 25 and will probably last about a minute with the limited weaponry I have.

Want to do it though as I want the engrams/drops/rewards

I think level 25 without an experienced and high level team is just a tad too low - you're at a big disadvantage in terms of armour and firepower to the enemies and you'll die a lot as a result - then other team members will have to drop their responsibilities to revive you and it will make everything much harder.

See if you can get your level up and weapons up beforehand - happy to help beforehand if need be.

Don't forget Xur is in the Tower today, so you can buy an exotic piece of armour (hopefully a helmet) and get your level up a bit that way!
