On PS3 there's 4 very trustworthy servers to prevent that sort of bullst:
The official Pistonheads one
Both 'Girls, girls, girls' servers (run by a pher)
The Essex boys server - played some awesome games of Oman conquest on that one with The Hanging Judge
Although I don't get to play that often, those are the only four servers I bother playing on.

I mostly play team death match on Xbox. Not tried ph servers yet. And my gamer profile is corrupt so it keeps tellin me and so doesnt remember some stuff. I just enjoy the destress of it all. Can't work out the idiots it's a game who kills who doent matter. The dice servers are good and normal. But getting on abig ticket game dice server can be a pain.
My Best weapon is claymore I think funniest too

I had that, too. Fixed it by enabling cloud saves and saving it to the cloud storage. You can then move it back onto your hard drive. My Best weapon is claymore I think funniest too
So, as a non-premium pleb I just got AK last night.
Pretty fun I thought, huge great maps. Obviously got a bit owned because everyone knows the maps and is running around with all the unlocks for the new vehicles, but doesn't take too long to get the basics like smoke. Lots more things to do, the large tank battles are a quite different tactical proposition.
The sheer range of scale now, from small close in TDM and CQ maps, up to vehicle based conquest on the massive new desert map, is really quite impressive.

The range of types of combat in BF3 is incredible too - looking at most people's stats, few get involved in all of what the game has to offer, but if you want you can have epic dogfights, extreme range sniper battles, meatgrinder CQB, tank battles and anything in between. It's an amazing game.Pretty fun I thought, huge great maps. That thought hit me last night on Alborz mountains actually. We'd lost the gunship, so I switched from heavy air - to sneaky bastard mode, equipping terrain appropriate camo, silenced weapons - and skulking about from bush to bush picking off loose stragglers who'd become separated from their squad, and laying mines around the exits on the flag we needed.
There's few, if any, games that serve to provide a more variable experience depending on how you choose to approach it, than Battlefield. It's rare to find a game in which you can ultimately all play towards the same objective, from so many varied, and dissimilar approaches. It's like 20 games in one, and I love it.

And so so many ways to both kill and die. Fantastic fun. And I do often die trying inventive ways to kill others!Killboy said:
I have now fallen in love with C4. The jihad buggies and quads are fun, but had an epic moment when I chased an enemy vehicle that was full of C4 and hadnt seen me, and blew him up. Took a while to catch him, but the comments after were funny.
Some of the most fun you can have is a suicide run - find a spot where the enemy congregate (for example a stairwell on Metro). Then, sneak behind them and walk amongst them dropping C4, then detonate..... My current record is 7 kills in one............ I had a few messages stating it was epic...... I do more often than not get shot trying though.....PeXy said:

Is the C4 allowance different on console? On PC with expl perk you only get 5 sticks. Having said that, I've managed to nail 2 tanks, 3 sticks on 1, 2 on another, in close proximity, the explosion off the 3x was enough. Sadly I only got 5 kills FUBAR said:

Sadly I only got 5 kills There are some pretty good videos on Youtube of people being inventive with C4. One of the guys sneaks it onto newly spawned enemy jets, then once it's taken off, taunts the pilot over chat (on the PC) that their jet is about to explode.
Anyone else noticed that they've buffed the suppression effect in the latest patch?
I've been primarily in vehicles since the patch came out, but played a bit of Grand Bazaar yesterday with an LSAT deployed on a bipod in cover and it was bouncing all over the place when an IFV was landing explosive rounds near me (but not close enough to injure me).

I must be one of the few that really likes the suppression effect.I've been primarily in vehicles since the patch came out, but played a bit of Grand Bazaar yesterday with an LSAT deployed on a bipod in cover and it was bouncing all over the place when an IFV was landing explosive rounds near me (but not close enough to injure me).
I pick up so many suppression ribbons now.
Most people dont shoot unless they can see/ hit someone. If i spot someone behind a rock/ wall, etc....I'll keep bursting off rounds until they eventually pop out, or one of my team can get closer to them and get the kill. Probably why my accuracy is so low.
Suppressing fire can be really useful if working together as a squad.
