Fuel is funny. If you try to complete your third lap you will run out coming out of the last chicane!

Its also a bit hard. I did a 40 minute practise last night and didn't get a clean lap. Doesnt help that you only get an out, 1 flying and an in.

I must be missing something then, mines 626 with an oil change. Can you reach the pits on your third lap with 660+?

A bit of fuel saving will get you there. It seems i'm quite heavy on the old fuel consumption, and I was slightly short, I ran out in the couple of corners before pit entry. If you want your tyres to last 3 laps you have to be careful anyway, so it kinda works. When everyone is racing hard it's going to be a different ball game. This week will be an exercise of self-restraint.

To add some much needed class and excitement to the championship after Norb's dull combo last night, this weeks combo will be:

Suzuka

Ferrari 330 P4 330 Race car*

Car spec and settings to be confirmed later after further testing later tonight

  • If you haven't got one then you can win a car from the Ferrari online challenge, just win all five races to win one.

Yep, I've done 4 of the 5 races, it's easy with 580pp and only takes half an hour.

Just about to start the first wine of the evening.

Watched 2 versions of Scrooge today to get into the spirit of things. Presents all wrapped, Port decanted (one of about 10 bottles of 1985 churchill's that was left at the old bungalow when we bought it), cheese stinking and kids suitably excited now that carrots, milk and mince pies have been put out.

So on that festive feeling I wish you all a very merry Christmas from the Rex household.
