nah the 330i is a 4 door hence a saloon whereas the gtr/csl are 2 doors so they are coupes

Ah ! Conceded.
I'll just stick with the Golf then. I'll edit again.

yeah after testing on trial mountain it seemed unsettled by bumps and seemed to understeer more than the focus so went back to my original hatchback choice

Am assuming it was the V6 version and not the 172. I tested the V6 and it was solid as a rock, just not quite quick enough.

Saying that, after the PP resets, 500pp on sports tyres looks like an appealing category as it opens the doors for some real muscle.

Which is another way of saying it would allow me to enter the Carlton biggrin

To be honest I'd even be happy to replay season 3. I wouldn't mind giving that Esprit a few more races. I've always loved the look of those cars.

EDIT: Which makes me wonder, do any of you have favourites from old seasons, cars that you enjoyed so much that you'd happily go back to and race again (I mean to the same rules, I know cars like the M3 GTR and NSX have spanned a few different categories)

Boxter , Z4M Coupe and Focus RS
Page 1 updated.

and my M3 CSL from season 1 was unbeatable (no F11 remember)

finally picked my choice for trial mountain and it is....the 190E smile

its not the quickest but it handles nicely and when it runs out of grip it drifts nicely too hehe and with a time of 1:37.1 its not too bad
I found that a very entertaining steer! It's not that slow, but very slidey when the grip runs out, sounds nice too.

I'm pretty much there with my choices, all I need to do now is test an Elise at this performance level to see if I think I can get away with it or not. Hopefully do that tonight, but I have a big project on at the moment so I'll be in computing labs until fk's-sake-o'clock, I think.

How did the inter-champ go? smile
