Biker DLC?
I assume this is just the same frenetic speculation and self made hype from GTA forum etc as usual as ive not seen anything official?

Pretty much from what I can tell. There was a "What DLC would you like to see?" type thread on the forums or reddit, and the most popular post got taken as gospel, and has been repeated so much as truth that unless you saw the original thread you can be forgiven for believing it.

The Lost slamvans have been in the game since the heist update.
Biker DLC was I think just speculation based on the Gargoyle etc being found in advance of the last update.

Yeah it's the new rumour. New bikes clothes and biker gang themed ceo/VIP work.

I think the bikes class is one of the few (if the only one) of the classes where the original top bikes that came with the game (Akuma/Bati) are still the most common seen in races.

I used the trick last of of content creator - contend and placing the new DLC vehicles in and testing them (obviously unmodified)

I'm glad i didn't folk out on one of the super race cars first as the one i liked (Mclaren F1 type) was very twitchy, i do like the new bikes though... not parting with any money yet!

I dunno about 'new' rumour, people have been talking about it since before the release of 'cunning stunts' and it all seems pretty credible. Whatevedr it was, the DLC has been delayed by a few weeks so presumably whatever's set to drop is likely to have some new contact missions etc as if it was simply a couple of new vehicles it wouldn't need so much fine tuning.

I must say I do like the Stunts update but does anyone else feel that there should have been a little more made of the actual stunts rather than just making it 100% race based? 50 RP for a double backflip that makes you ocershoot a race checkpoint seems a little half-hearted. Also I love the new Quattro and Stratos type cars but find I rarely use them as they're outclassed by most of the other cars in the Sports category.

Good point - I'd almost forgotten you receive a random tiny bit of RP for 'stunts'. Usually for a spin and crash. Shame they couldn't have made the stunts a necessary part of the race.

And the Quattro and Stratos are both lovely but uncompetitive against the Elegy, Massacro et al which is a shame. Good fun when the race is locked to unmodified versions of those, Tampa Drift or Buffalo race car though; they all seem to be similarly paced.

I feel that a bunch of us don't have the others added as friends on PS4 (I know I don't) so I have made the "Pistonheads GTA" community.

You can join it via the friends menu on the PS4 menu, and then we can easily find if each other is playing, rather than hoping we can somehow find enough people to invite in each others friends lists!

It's not quite a 'standard' top gear challenge but it's definitely in the theme of it. The idea is it's going to be a free-mode race from LSIA to the Strip Club, but with no cars allowed.

You have five choices of transport.

Race starts on the Northbound Platform of the LSIA Subway

You can then:

1) Take the Metro to the Strawberry station, get off, and run the last few yards

2) Run to the surface, call a Taxi, and get a ride to the club

3) Get a boat, drive up up the LS Rivers to the closest point possible and then climb out, and use a bicycle for the last few streets.

4) Run into the airport, grab a helicopter and take it to maximum height (8k ft). Base jump out, land at the strip club.

5) Run all the way from the station to the strip club.

Winner is the first person in the back of the club getting a lap dance.

It wasn't run on Thursday - no point really in the week anyway because even if a few people are on, they're generally on at different times in the evening.

Is anyone into the idea of car show/meet type gathering. Like, literally rock up to car park of Burger Shot/Cluckin' Bell, show off your unlikeley modded cars that are just fun to have in the garage but that don't get used in racing or freeroam much. I'm thinking, show off your Sentinal XS with the custom matt chrome paint, or the fully upgraded Duyndreary Regina or indeed anything else unusual with interesting wheels etc etc. Then maybe show each other round our garages. I have two characters and with the second I've just decided to fill my garages with unlikley and unpopular cars, fully modded.

Oh, and I really like the idea of some FWD only races.

We often do this before one of challengers, errr, challenges. It usually ends up as a scrap yard though as we get bored easily and a grenade or two get misplaced...
