Trying to cheese the incursion solo... probably not the best idea with only 16k skillpower, should probably have gone and checked what's in my stash first.

40mins later and only 4 bars down
eek You're going to be there all day!!
I'm playing with remote play whilst 'working' biggrin
You need 4 people to do the proper cheese. 3 log out then log back in and get delicious loot. Then you swap over and do it again

Edit: full cheese here for those who don't know it:

Interestingly Ubisoft appear to be having a panic and are now deleting all threads that mention exploits, bugs, criticism of the devs and team, or mentions of the plummeting player count from the official forums

I tried the incursion today solo hard mode, with 154 stat. The drones surprised the hell out of me. Got to the wave section and decided this was a bad idea and left! So moved on to try the General Assembly on solo hard, and that proved enough of a challenge - especially the last two parts in the lecture room and the helicopter bit. Got 2 gold drops on that one but Col Bliss only dropped 4 purples.

I'm struggling with this game now. Doing the dailies is getting really boring and so far this week haven't bagged me anything worthwhile. Dark zone, which I used to love, is now awful solo. Everyone is going rogue and you don't stand a chance against a few agents. Got some nice gold weapons and each time they got nicked by rogues. I haven't done the incursion yet, but it sounds a bit st.

The ability difference between casuals and those without gainful employment is getting OTT. I haven't had chance to do any of the cheeses either so it'll only get worse for me.

The Destiny update downloaded at the same time as this. To me that was an infinitely better game (also lacking in content though, but not as thin as this) so I think I'll go back to that for a bit. Plus, it has spaceships.

Police Academy finally dropped me an HE Classic M1A to complete my lineup. 30% critical chance on full health no scan will do nicely.

I echo the sentiments Stimps, I'm now so far behind the curve due to other commitments that I'll never catch up. Dailies are easy and I'm only doing them to get credits for the Vector after which I'll call it a day unless something radically changes. Only got a gear score of 120 too, so meh. Can't really be bothered to be honest

Coincidentally played Destiny again just a day or so ago, turned it off again in short order after one mission. I think that boat has sailed for me

Moog, I was in the same boat as you a few days ago but managed to get myself up to 167 and today hit all gold, with a crafted Vector and mask (182's), rest are drops. It is a bit of a grind though. If you dont go in the DZ, you get like max 30 PC a day plus 2-3 for repeats/hard missions. That takes you 2-3 days just to get enough PC for a 182 piece of gear, 4-6 days for each weapon!! For a greater challenge, try the General Assembly on Hard - that should get your juices flowing again smile. I'm going to have another go at it today to see if I can die less than 3 times.

Looks like Ubisoft in meltdown now. All weekly rewards cancelled. I think I'm about done with this game. It was fun , but the end game is total bks. Roll on Overwatch!

Only for this week while they figure out a way to stop all the exploiting. Can't really blame them for that, they're between a rock and a hard place. I saw the latest 'cheese' video this morning - how in the world do people figure this st out? No amount of playtesting could ever highlight such an utterly random way to leave the map! I really feel for ubisoft at the moment, I genuinely hope they can turn this around because, at it's core, the mechanics of the game are fun as hell!!

As for the endgame, I agree it is sparse. Whilst I'm a long way from being maxed, I cannot yet buy the lvl 32 weapon blueprints (only DZ rank 60). The blueprints I wanted are not longer available at rank 75 so, the incentive to grind has been removed,

I'm hoping that people will now want to run the incursion properly but, as there is new cheese available already, who knows!

Daily challenge missions are fun but, limited to only 4 missions. Phoenix Credits are pretty much redundant, crafting materials are in short supply and yet the loot drops are generally a bit pants

I'm not really sure what I'm going to do when I log in later today.

People are driven to insane cheesing because the endgame Ubisoft have served up is repetitive, boring rubbish with the same fixed mechanics of grenade spam and shotguns, and the rewards for enduring it are paltry. A fun endgame raid with good mechanics, good loot and some proper role differentiation would have made people less interested in exploiting the st out of it

I doubt it would have made any difference. Cheesers will always cheese and, once their methods are made public, most people who can exploit them, will exploit them. People will always follow the path of least resistance to endgame loot, always.

I can't comment yet on whether or not the incursion is fun, I have yet to try it properly. Something I hope to remedy this weekend.

Because the cheese wasn't infinitely more boring than doing it legit? Lets not fool ourselves here, the incursion might not be the most thrilling end-game content ever but the cheese was the definition of boring.

People will cheese content regardless of how good it is deemed to be. VoG was

OK some cheese stats - Incursion in solo hard mode - took 2 hours - 22k Skill, so sticky doing 170k dmg, 46 sec reset.
Incursion solo challenge mode - took 4 hrs 10 mins - pimped my girl up this time to 38k skill - sticky doing 282k dmg, 32 sec reset. Would have taken longer but my cover slot freed itself after 1 hr 30mins (well that's when I noticed it), so I put in the ammo/skill cooldown skill, which reduced the reset to approx 20 secs. Each health bar (9 in total) was 30 minutes to start with - I thought I wasnt doing any damage at all as my gear level was below the 160 minimum (with my switched kit to boost my skill). Dropped to 20 mins after the cooldown skill deployed.

Dont do this unless you are MAD. It is mind numbingly boring.

Mind you when you work out how much time you spend getting crafting gear and doing dailies for 10 PC's, maybe 4 hrs of boredom is worth it.

Battalion jacket and hood - very cool. 30% headshot bonus released.
Had hoped there would be a weapon but no. Overall gear score went from 165 to 186. DPS 120 to 165k. So not too bad.

You must be mad to have done it solo. With a decent team it could be done in less than 25 mins.

Also, you just take the mobile cover down after you enter and change the skill. You don't have to wait for it to expire!!!

Not on this cheese - it doesnt use the mobile cover to get through the wall - I think that has been fixed. You dont even enter the main area. Also you can only use stickies. You cant use exploding covers or explosive ammo. Hence why it takes longer than 4 x 25 minutes smile

I assumed you were talking about the previous method.

But even with the new cheese it would still be much quicker with four people due to the fact you can use triage and first aid.

Also, anyone using explosive bullets and explosive cover for the old cheese was doing it very wrong.
