Well one big problem. The Impreza amd M5 have the same engine sound FFS, which itself sounds a bit like a 5 cylinder. I hope this won't be the same for the full game but it's a bit of a shame to fk up the demo like this. Also, the track is a bit crap, Hockenheim should've been used.
That's really dissappointing, and I've just upgraded to 5.1 as well.sparks_E39 said:
Don't forget the demo is likely months and months old and in most cases the game is vastly improved. Early reports of green disc (full game) holders is that its superb.
I really hope this is the case, but you do wonder why they would release a sub-standard demo. People will base their purchasing decisions on it regardless of whether it's a fair reflection of the finished game or not.The Zonda looks and sounds fantastic! The 458 was really nice too, graphics look pretty good. Admittedly the demo is a tad dull but its a demo, I expected it to be abit dull. One thing I've noted though is that it seems quite difficult to upset the cars even with TC and STC turned off. Still cant wait for next week though, gunna be awesome.

why not? what's wrong with it?
There are like 4 cars on it 1 track, the graphics are good but after you have spent 30mins on it then there is nothing left to try."I don't like the demo because it's not the full game" is not criticism, in fact, it's quite the opposite.
I'm not sure if it's just this game but the last few demo's i've downloaded have really turned me off some games.
For FM3 I downloaded the demo and damn near couldn't put it down, after driving all the cars on FM4 demo my thoughts were "well thats that done, right turn it off then!"
I think the Zonda sounds amazing but the Impreza sounds more like a V6 than a boxxer engine which is a huge huge shame.
I am still looking forward to the game but it might have something to do with real tracks and the ability to tune/paint/customise the cars.
Demo rating = 6/10

The Impreza and M5 sound different through my system; similar, but slightly different! There was a discussion regarding this on the Forza 4 forums, whereby a user posted YouTube clips of each car in real life and the engine note is quite similar. Also, it's worth noting, at least both cars sound nice! They could've been like the hairdryers in GT5

Well I didn't like it at first, but now after playing it for a while I'm starting to really enjoy it.
I wasn't sure about the physics, they just felt odd but after some more time playing I'm starting to understand how they behave, you have to be a lot more precise with the throttle and steering than GT5 and Forza 3.
I think I was unsure at first due to me using a controller for the first time in ages (I use a wheel on every driving game and have done for years).
The cars have a good weight to them. Drifting through the traffic in an M5 is great fun .
