I only have one exotic weapon, the MIDAS Multi-Tool scout rifle
So far, I love it! The reload is lightening fast which can be very useful if your clip runs empty with a procession of vandals marching towards you and I love the active radar while aiming. It isn't as accurate as my legendary (or at least, I'm not as accurate with it!) But, I shall persevere as there was a time when I hated scout rifles completely but with practice, they have become my go to primary as long as the fighting isn't too 'close qtrs' (in which case, scout rifles suck!)
ETA - Xur is back and at last, he is selling what I need. An exotic chest piece for my warlock and Hunter and, he is also selling the Last Word so, I shall have another exotic weapon by the end of today

Xur is stiffing Titan's again - a chest piece again for at least the 3rd week in a row, and it's the same one as last week! 
When is he going to sell gauntlets for anyone but Warlocks?
Still, I haven't got The Last Word yet, so that's a bonus (and takes my exotic weapon count up to 14! ), although it doesn't look to be as good as Hawkmoon.
Hand cannon, shot gun and pulse rifle telemetry also available, so worth picking up a few if you've got some spare strange coins.
The engram is for helmets.

Good spot on the engram - I shall try my luck there and see if I can get a warlock exotic there before buying the chest piece as the raid helmet is something I am far less likely to acquire!! Hand cannon telemetry also a good shout, will pick a few of those up too.

Not sure what the odds are, but I've had 6 loot drops from the Hard Raid so far and not had either the Vex Mythoclast (Hard Raid only weapon) or the Raid helmet.
As there are only 4 Hard Raid drops available each week for each character, it could take quite a while to get it.

Balls!! I thought 1 exotic, 1 raid and the rest legendary was enough to hit 30. So it needs to be full raid gear, or 1 exotic and the rest as raid to get to 30? Does that mean that my Warlock exotic chest armour will prevent me from getting to 30? Yep, either need full raid, or raid and 1 exotic to get to 30, regular legendary gear won't cut it.sidaorb said:

Is that the one with the mohican that blinds enemies that enter your dome of light bubble?That's a great perk, especially combined with weapons of light - as soon as the enemy boss spawns, run up to them and throw up your dome of light bubble - he gets blinded (will just stagger around not doing anything) and you get a buff for your weapons to shoot him at will for 30 seconds.
Also works well in swarms as it turns your dome into an impenetrable shield - no fire can penetrate it and no enemy can melee you inside of it.
Just watch out for enemies that start the melee outside of the shield as they'll still hit you (Vandals!), side step them and then smash them in the face!

You need all your armour to have 30 light points to be level 30.
Exotic armour will upgrade to 30 light points
Raid legendary armour will upgrade to 30 light points
Normal legendary armour will only upgrade to 27 light points.
As the Raid helmet is only available in Hard mode and even then only rarely, it makes sense to get an exotic helmet and upgrade that before any other exotic armour. More easily said than done, though!
You can get to level 28 with all normal legendary gear and level 29 with normal legendary plus one exotic.

Universal Remote is good, although nothing special compared to The Comedian or the Invisible Hand M7 Legendary's I have, other than using it as a primary. Seems silly really as shotguns are so short range. Flat-out said:
