I'm very fond of the Feltzer. Not far off the Massacro's speed. And like all the Benefactors in the game, it seems to be based on just one car rather than a mash-up of two. Do Merc tacitly support their products being in GTA?

Yes, the Feltzer is a very good and often overlooked option.
Not quite as quick as the other too but has very good handling

Apparently there's been a change of plans and we have a bunch of people coming here tonight so I won't be on after all.

Some good tracks last night, even if I was rubbish...I blame being too knackered to concentrate enough. Silly mistakes cost me as did not getting a clean start bar one race (but what can you expect starting at the back every time?)

Maybe we should qualify or is that a bit to serious?

I look forward to seeing that one - I checked the times and was over 6s ahead not long before the finish. Managed to hit a pedestrian on the final run to the line, which knocked me into a bridge parapet and caused me to spin, but I thought I had 6s in hand... Clearly not laugh

This back row must be big then .

We've got crafty, alex, arkose , pete all claiming they always start at the back.

The only way to guarantee a front row is to host the races wink

I started mid pack every race this time. It is annoying grid position can't be randomised in playlists though. All the tracks were great yesterday, well done thumbup . Anything new due out this week?

I joined after race 2 ... at the back is fine, you just need to wait for all the crashes to happen out front to clear the way!

Normally I'm fine with starting at the back as you can dodge the first corner madness. My issue last night was I seemingly was at the centre of all the crashes...(though one of the races I did manage to take myself out...)

I think I was starting in 4th position. It was a tricky one for me because I didn't want to go steaming in to the people in front but then I tended to get collected by everyone behind me.

Interesting - I definitely wasn't anywhere near as far in front as I thought. The empty track made it feel like I had plenty of time to turn round and cross the line. Good race; I see you didn't stoop to kerb boosting like Crafty wink (I didn't either but I don't think it has any great benefit to the Feltzer)

I always seem to start at or very near the back. There was a theory that your place on the grid depends on the order you join the race/job, but I've been first in before and still started way down so I reckon its random.

If you start at the back and you manage to miss the inevitable 1st corner pile up the biggest danger is a recovering car in front of you doesn't know you're there and takes you out in the second corner!

After driving the elegy for a while the Massacro seems hard work - its very unstable over bumps and moves around a lot.

The race where Jobbo binned it at the last corner - I didn't even realise until I had crossed the line and saw him scampering across the road to the finish point. Talk about snatching defeat from the jaws of victory!

ETA: Just saw the video - my driving looks a lot better there than it did from where I was sat! felt like I was all over the place. That 770 thing was proper quick and I had to kerb boost to stay ahead!
That accident on the first lap at the end of the big straight - I was that there thinking "this can't end well" and had let go of the throttle, I think the elegy came left a little bit and as we had overlap it all went wrong. I wonder if the game has a mechanic whereby if someone is off throttle they don't spin?

I reckon there is at least a second in the elegy vs the massacro on that track.
