Off to a flying start in my newly purcharsed Jagdpanther, 9 matches, 0 wins. This is a cursed tank!
Stick with it, the JagdPanther is a great TD, especially when you've got one of the T8 guns on it.

You acted like either you didn't know the history of the mine dogs, or you thought that their inclusion in the game was crass, but it's just an April fools. Sorry if I got the wrong end of the stick!

Neither. smile

Whilst I admire the effort they went to in order to try and find something that fits with the theme of each nation, I just didn't think it was funny. It's at least two years in a row where one element of their April Fools joke has been to 'threaten' something that they (in my opinion) would blatantly never do. It just seems, pointless. Not when you've got a Karl to go play with. It just falls flat to me.

Indeed I was aware of the mine dogs. Now if they'd had a special 'final minute' of a Karl battle where increasing numbers of Doges seek out and destroy terrain to gradually reveal more of the map... smile

The April Fools wrought upon the WOT Xbox 360 website was "World of Wartrains" being announced as in development. Don't give up the day job lads...

Just had a few more matches in my JPanther, 15 matches now and 4 wins. Still not amazing. But, I do enjoy playing this tank, it's massive and easy to spot, slow to accelerate, not a big top speed and slow turn speed, and it gets shredded if an enemy tank so much as gets a sniff of the side armour. However, the 8.8 PAK36 gun is great, and the PAK43 looks to be even better, it will be a little while until I unlock that though. Fast firing, accurate and good at range, this tank can bother enemies over serious distance, I've managed to one shot a few lower tier tanks, and I've already claimed a few tier VIII scalps. I've just purchased a camo net, which I think will help alleviate the high visibility of the tank on the map to a degree, I just need to tweak my tactics and instead of using it an aggressive, forward moving TD, try and keep the mediums and heavies in front and to the sides of me.

That and the American T25AT make for good stablemates for Tier 7 TD's.

Oh, World of Crayfish was surprisingly good fun!

I was getting trolled last night, not by the gun, that was trolling the enemy with crazy snap shots

but by damned awful teams, 9 times out of 10 I was top damage

I played bout 10 games and won 1

also some absolute weapon in a T34-85 right behind me stopped me backing off from around a corner and even pushed my forwards while I was in full reverse trying back away from 2 M6 tanks in my SU-100

I died fast, and then raged in team chat while he went a capped, he didn't fire a single shot either

Still trying to persevere with Arty, managed to unlock the GWPanther last night. Only played 3 games but it seems like a nice upgrade from the Hummel, certainly the extra horizontal traverse from the little turret on it makes a big difference in tracking enemies and aiming times. Probably just got lucky with RNG but the accuracy seemed much better, and with the bigger splash damage it felt like I was having more of a positive contribution.

It is nice turning the tables and being a arty for a while, so funny when you get raged at. Had a Nashorn telling me I was a noob c... for shooting him - despite the fact he was pushing the attack in his paper tank rolleyes

All gone. (There are currently over 11,000 people watching the wgleu stream for the Finals, so I would guess they're going pretty quickly!)

But I did get a code for the War Thunder Ground Forces Beta last night. Had a look. Very different, which is nice, two different games rather than two doing the same thing.

I am loving my Jackson TD now it's fully upgraded. For once I can actually take on the Tigers! It's got the speed and agility of a medium but with a punch and armour similar to a heavy. Great fun!

I'm afraid that the armour values for the Jackson are misleading; the strong bit of armour is the bit that's usually hidden; the lower glacis.

As you'll find when you get penned by pretty much everything from the front; side and rear armour are nonexistant, so there's only 4 or 5 T1 machine guns that can't pen you...

It's a T6 Wolverine with a better gun; hull down and snipe.

Not a bad TD, but the T25 is a big step up smile

I know it's not perfect and I can't wait to get the T25 but I am enjoying being able to rumble with VII mediums and heavies, maybe I'm just playing people who are useless/I'm very lucky. Artillery seems to be what gets me most games.

fk off t57 heavies. seriously.. every fkin tier 10 game, you cant bounce their shots, they don't miss, they reload far too quickly and do about 100 damage too much per shot or have too many shells in the clip

Might start shooting the ones on my team I hate them that much. With my FV183.

Anyone got any love for the T25/2? I absolutely frikkin love mine and perform far better in it than the T25AT. Typical me really - the perceived wisdom is that its a dog, but im leapfrogging my crew up both US td lines and prefer this to any of the others ive played so far. I have the T28 non turreted one sitting unplayed until I elite the T25/2 and tbh im not looking forward to it.

Not an enormous fan, tbh, but that's because the gun is VERY mediocre for the tier.

Elite the T25/2, then the Proto, so you can grind the gun out for the T28 on the Proto, makes it less painful; I prefer the T25 to the T25/2, but the Proto to the T28.
