I enjoyed last night smile
Started dead last in 12th frown but finished 9th biggrin

Had a nice race with Perra and Andy for the first few laps. Cheers guys. Ended up doing 2:25-2:26 laps frown but gave me a good race with the other slower guys.

My steed for the race

The BMW's

The 4 Mercedes 190e's....and Andy's secret new weapon (having to go wide)

I felt sorry for L33MK2 who seemed to not enjoy the track at all. Did you have the braking line/markers assist switched on Lee ?

That was a tough race on a tough track last night, I was happy with the result after a couple of laps battle with Andy at the end and came in 7th. I beat my PB lap time as well getting into the mid 2:22s which was much better than I had been doing in practice all week.

Road Atlanta is going to be another hard race.

Josh, was that a rage quit? Who do you think you are, Jamesd49? hehe

Only the brake markers. I was lapping withing .500secs each lap, just couldnt keep with the pace. Had a few offs aswell that didnt help much.

Road America is NOT one of my better tracks. Roll on Road Atlanta.

Enjoyed that last night - running mid 22's to 23's virtually all race.... Lexus putting out sub 300 brake so could give it a little extra oomph by dropping the race tyres... so much better settled under power than the Starion

Had to nudge my way past John in the early laps to get past as was lacking a bit until the tyres warmed up. Went til lap 10 before pitting as car was getting better and better but don't actually think I passed anyone else in the whole race.

Came out between Perra and Fatty and spent the last two laps fighting cold tyres/trying to defend 6th..

As a laugh to keep the racing close can we do some of the smaller tracks - Maple Short/Ladera/Suzuka East (i think) etc. Might be a little bit of panel damage with these though....

Enjoyed that race alot, started well back and pitted at the wrong time with a slow stop (evidenced by Liam overtaking me in the bloody pitlane (what the actual fk? seriously.), enjoyed driving back through the field though..

Oh Alex, I ran 560pi as you'd won one more race than me but were running 555pi, so man maths told me I should be 5pi better off wink

ETA: Alan, TH3 LAD used your tune last night, it's bloody quick, I just didn't feel as though I could get a consistent time out of it as it was a bit unpredictable on turn in and under power.

Domestic Melon would of definately won last night if he hadn't dropped out. I was running behind him in 2nd until I pitted, was about 1,200ft behind him. Finished the race only about 600-700ft behind the race winner Flukey.

Yeah, Alan's 190e tune is good. Had never driven it before the race but Chuck suggested it so gave it a go. Took until about lap 7 until I worked out how to get around in the low-mid 21s. Then I sat on my own in 2nd all race until I came out the pits about 100ft behind Chuck and Alex.

Had a good race, would of been better if I had someone to race with....

I was only losing you by 10ft per lap, it would of been a close race if we was closer together.

You came out about 100ft ahead of us, even though Alex didn't see you until the last minute cue a brief excursion on the grass! hehe

Shame I started so far down the field, anyway would of only been a good race until about lap 10.... biggrin

I know came out ahead but you guys were flat out and got past before the first corner. I know, I stayed left thinking he will come flying up the inside of me, kept looking back thinking he is going to plough into the back of me, quickly moved right and he went flying across into the grass. Then again he does go to a poly so you can understand...... hehe

It looks like 1:30's and under will be the pace setting times. We started with 1:32's and 1:33's but then Chucky came along and joined in hehe
Which reminds me, did you get a chance to try the Corolla ?

I will have to miss the next round at Road Atlanta, as I am at work. In fact, I am not quite sure why I was practising for Road Atlanta last night.

I managed to do a 1.31.5 and was on for a 30.9 until I got caught up in traffic. Last night was my first go around Atlanta. Chucky told me he was capable of sub 1.30s in one of his tunes. So if you can get within a second of that, you will probably finish in the top 5 hehe

Hate this track. Hate my car. Absolute best is 1:30.5. Consistent 1:30.7s. Car feels like a pig on the sweepers on the first half of the lap.
