There's a lot of screwy stuff going on. Seeing as Niantic categorically do not respond to users (email their support email address and you get an autoresponder saying it is not a monitored inbox), I don't buy that story at all. Even if the Earth shifted on its axis and they did respond, surely they'd send her $5 of Pokecoins instead of giving away key Pokemon.

This guy reckons he's caught them all. Legit or no?

Reckons he hatched a Taurus (US exclusive supposedly) from an egg....

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-hampshire-369...
he's bang on.

if you have the right length egg and it can spawn the regional exclusives outside of that region. the only exclusive bit really is that you'll never see a taurus on the streets.

whats annoying me at the moment is that the code has obviously been changed- its making it so much harder to get pokemon and requires farming of the pokestops.

aside from that its a great game me and my daughter are into it.

oh and the other gripe - is anyone getting just 5km and 2km eggs?? i'm full to the brim with them and not getting a single 10km anymore

Not had one since level 5 and I'm level 18 now. My partner constantly seems to get them and has 3 at the moment.

I'm level 17 at the moment. Currently have a 10k, two 5k and a 2k egg incubating, with three 5k and a 2k waiting to be incubated.

Before you go using up stardust and candies, make sure your pokemon's IVs are worth it. Just realised I wasted a st ton of dust and candies leveling up essentially worthless pokemon.

How accurate is it though? Both my Flareon and Vaporeon are the same CP but my Vaporeon is a million times better in a battle (higher HP and quicker attacks). They gave my Flareon an 80% rating though and my Vaporeon a 49% rating????

It seems to be solely based on defence /15 attack /15 stamina /15

They aren't comparing different Pokemon, the percentage means how close they are to a max stat roll, and because Flareon sucks compared to Vaporeon one with a lower stat roll is still much better.

It's purely for comparing the same Pokemon, to work out which you should keep and which you should transfer, along with looking at the moves it has once fully evolved.

It's not for comparing different species - it's for comparing which of your pokemon of a single species to spend your time and resources on. So, for example if you have two Vaporeons, don't go on CP alone, go on which has the better IV score (assuming there isn't a humongous CP difference). You can't compare a Vaporeon and a Flareon as they will have different speed ratings, different moves, etc which are more relevant factors for comparing different species of pokemon.

Case in point, I currently have 2 Charmanders within 100 CP of one another. One has vastly superior IVs though, despite also having the lower CP. So I transferred the higher CP one will evolve the higher IV one.

Congrats on that Magikarp! Shame Gyarados isn't as powerful as it first seemed from what I can tell.

All mine are pretty rubbish, need to go catch more.

I got a refund from Apple for my Pokecoins because of the removal of tracking. Live in a rural location so without tracking it's basically Random Number Generator Go.

How long has it taken to go into bank? Mine still hasn't.

Couple of days. Mine are all back in bank account.

Annoyingly Apple went on a refund spree and also refunded some in-app purchases on the same invoices for stuff I use daily and was more than happy to pay for. Spoke to both of the developers and offered to send them the money again but they both said not to worry and glad I enjoyed it. Feel pretty guilty about that.

As it turns out App Store refunds are anonymous so devs don't know who has got a refund.

Me and the wife both have this on our phones, purely to keep the kids entertained of course. She installed Tuesday and has got up to level 5 so was pretty pleased with herself. Sat on the train this morning with her and she spins a pokestop and sits there and watches everything float away. I was wondering how she had got to level 5 and only had 20 odd pokeballs. She was gutted when I pointed out her schoolboy error biggrin
