So as a farwell to GT5 we"ll run a 2 make champ world tour which will take us up to the launch of 6.

Cars to be run are

Car 1 - STOCK - MX5 TC - on Sports meds and hards

Car 2 - Classic 1.3i Mini *tune below* on Comfort softs and meds.

MINI Spec:
Stock weight 720kg
Sports ecu
Stage 2 engine
Sports intake
Racing air filter
Sports exhaust manifold
Sports cat
Racing pipe
Full gear box (to allow adjust for certain circuits, decided each week)
All other drive train and suspension stock.
Power should be around 104

Ballast will be fixed for the season as follows:

- MX5 Mini
1st 120kg 90kg
2nd 100kg 70kg
3rd 85kg 55kg
4th 75kg 45kg

Format:

10 mins qualifying session to form grid for race 1. This will start at 8.30pm every Sunday from 15th Spet. Car used will be the MX5 on odd weeks (1,3,5 etc) and the Mini on even weeks (2,4,6).

What ever car you qualify in you run in race 1 and then swap for race 2 of each week.

Race 1 & 2 will be same format. 60 miles or time limit to 40 min per race. Eg wk 1 at Suzuka the minis lap is around 3 mins, by distance we should run 17 laps but this will be reduced to 12 or 13. etc.

Both compounds of rubber used for each car during the race. min distance on a set is 2 laps.

Within the 1st few laps we can and may call a safety car. these can be called by mic users and the lead car will control the train - if major damage occurs those needing to pit overtake the snake, so no weaving in the snake. Pitters will then rejoin at the back of the snake. I will then let the lead car control the restart - give 2 points from when they can race again.

Fuel and Tyre wear is on very high for every race.

Damage Full - weak slip - no driver aids other than ABS.

Calender is:

R1 - Suzuka (full)wet - quali in mx5 tc, race 1 in MX5 TC - race 2 classic mini

R2 - Tsukaba - reverse off above (mini for quali and race 1 etc)

R3 - Nordschleife (change time) - back to R1 order but 1 lap quali

R4 - cote d'azur as per R2

R5 - Indy road as per R1

R6 - Spa wet - as per R2

R7 - Daytona road - as per R1

R8 - Monza wet - as per R2

R9 - Laguna - as per R1

R10 - Twin Ring Motegi West Course - as per R2

R11 - Fuji GT - as per R1

R12 - N24 circuit with weather and time change - as per r1 but with 1 lap quali.

Runners and riders let me know if your in. If Ive missed anything shout.

One last thing - I'l be running Black and Gold wheel combo for this season.

This could be a great champ, the Mini races in particular will be absolutely crazy.

I'm looking forward to having a few wet races, too.

Red with Black wheels for me - everybody knows that's the best colour combo wink.

I think ill go with Dark Blue with silver this time, a winning combination I think you'll agree. At least everyone should have the necessary cars this season!

frown I was hoping to stick with my Hera Blue MX-5, I will have to concoct another combination.

Looking forward to some great close battles.

I'll be running silver, with #7 on the Mazda in light of last season's results. Mini is good fun in the wet, if a little slow.

Do we all start with 0KG ballast for the first race or are we carrying over from last week's second race?.

Same here, incredible driving isn't it. The bloke only got points on his race licence and a fine, and then had a go at the poor guy he hit! Serious impact with the tyres as well.

Awesome racing last night chaps, probably the cleanest I've seen.

Gutted to be missing the nest 2 weeks, how many scores can we drop?

I would think we could drop three again.

Have a good trip away thumbup.

Annoyed that I was disconnected just before the start of race one, I was really looking forward to it.

Race 2 was great fun, you could get some great slides going into turn one. It's good to be doing a few races in the wet again.
