Kevin Spacey playing a lead role?

Also it looks like it could be quite different, hopefully the new developer makes their mark on the series.

Getting all too Halo now, all about the tech and stupid jumps etc, wish they would go back to COD3 or even the early MW style just revamped

It would be good if they would just do like a Call of Duty Best Of with all the gameplay mechanics of COD4, and all the great maps from all the games.

Oh and a zombies mode on its own.

For me another WW2 genre would be great. No silly customisation or stupid gadgets, just back to the basics of a few kill streak rewards. Your right with the Halo comment, why go for all this futuristic ste when it could be great and simple.

Since MW2 I've hardly touched the latest batch of them. I've bought them all and tried to get into playing them but they just haven't interested me

I stopped buying them after Black Ops, although I did recently get Modern Warfare 3 only as a deal with Skyrim. Its not that great, and it just seems to favour snipers with their no scopes all the time.

Yeah I think it's going to be block ops 2 with a dash of titanfall in the also.

Who has sledgehammer help out in the past? IW or Treyarch?

I think if this was a trailer for a completely new game people would think it looks good. But once you find out it's another cod you just think same old etc. looks ok but il wait to see what multiplayer has to offer.

I think sledgehammer helped co create MW3 with IW.

It just looks like titanfall!!

All Call of Duty need to do to bring back the franchise is do a COD4 anniversary edition for next gen consoles, that would be good!

Halo 2 anniversary is apparently coming out so why can't they do it. biggrin

COD4 - how about a prequel to that one?

It's still the best out of the bunch.

My issue isn't the setting it's the story of the recent cods! It's all been the super elite troops that let's face it is the same story. I rember mw1&2 when the story was still about boots on the ground. THIS in my opinion made it more real. Less far fetched and put there.

After playing the BF4 campaign I was very disapointed as its realisum was good (great physics engine) but the setting and story was bks! Same goes for the last few COD games.

Take a decent combat book and turn it into a game. Sniper one, blackhawk down, hellfire or apache if you want some hellies in there. These real life stories turn into a game would be amazing.

Do any of us play cod for the story/single player? I've not completed single player since mw2 and I've had them all. if they change them and make them more futuristic then people say they shouldn't have done but if they leave them set in less recent times then people say that it's the same old.

I just think that it's been done so many times that people are ready for a change. Not sure what change yet as Titanfall ain't nothing special and battlefield is still meh and also getting on.
