Now there's been a lot of chat about me running an International version of my much beloved Nations Cup and those rumours are in fact correct.

Now I would like to run the series with the Leon Supercup again, but after various discussions with my fellow Nation Cup Racers, we have decided that this is not the best idea.

So we have decided to run it in R3, as these cars are the most competitive and close class. The reason for this is that these cars can either be bought or just chosen from the R3 garage and as stock tunings will be on, choosing a car from the arcade garage is not an issue

The plan is to run 2 cars per each individual car in the garage e.g 1 team will consist of 2 Ferrari F430 GT. Also each team will be asked to name a Country that they will represent, this does not need to be the country the car is from.

We will run the same rules as the Nations cup i.e 1 Sprint, 1 Enduro (fuel and tyres with a compulsory pit stop). As some discussion has been raised over TC being off, I am open to this discussion. My own thoughts are that both TCS and STM should be forced off, with just ABS left to option.

Now before I put anymore thought into this championship, I would like to know the interest.

Ian I'm confused. Does this mean its going to be 1st come 1st served on each car and only two of each make/model, surely this means once the 2 or 3 really dominant cars have been selected the rest of the racers have left overs only?

Or do you mean a two man team both racing the same car, if so then who gets to choose what?

I like the idea Curry, but how exactly will it be a International Cup? Personally i'd prefer another one make championship with reflecting paint schemes for the Country you are racing for.......agree maybe not use the Seat again but another car instead. Just think if you use R3 car's then it's just another normal championship.....and not the popular circus/series which is known as Curry's Nations Cup.

Just my two cent's.

And another quick thought, the two man teams, can we arrange it that the teams consist of 1 good driver and one novice type driver, as I think some of the newbies (myself included) will be hugely disadvantaged racing these monsters frown

Here's the list of cars from the PHGTC Thread Curry, feel free to have a look and copy the stuff onto this thread if you feel it necessary.

I'll be in the Beemer (surprise, surprise!) and chosen Greece as my representative team as it is where I spent most of my student life drinking beer and meeting beautiful womans.

Just a quick thought to run by you, Ian.

Instead of representing countries,(ie Greece/Khazakstan (??)) whats do you think about representing the continent you're chosen car is from?

I mean we have Vipers/911's/NSX's etc so how about if you choose a Viper then you represent America, an M3 and you'd be driving for Europe?

As I said, just a though, but let us know what you think! thumbup

I know Muz is a keen fan of the car too, so I reckon you two should have a 'race off' and whoever wins can take the spare seat hehe

Right, I am going to make a few changes to this Championship then.

Firstly I am going to drop the R3's as the car of choice and leave that to Nick's PHGTC to run.

Instead I think we will stay with A class and a ready tuned racer.....

The Ferrari F355 Challenge

I had become blinded by the fame and forgot the main reason I started the Nations Cup...close equal racing and ofcourse being able to sticker up your cars. Oh and if someone could send me one across, that would be dandy biggrin

I do like the idea of putting an experienced racer with a novice, so what I would suggest is that the 8 people currently running in the Nations cup, take a novice under their wing.

I know this kinda restricts us to 16 racers, but surely thats enough hehe

Let me know your thoughts.

nice one Curry, I prefer that idea to be honest, keep the Nations Cup in the original format you set it out to be....bravo!

Now, fancy being guided under my wing as a rookie? I can teach you how to actually win a race if you prove to be good! hehe

F355 challenge? I am in.

Err, does that make me a novice?

Anyone want to take the PH M3 Champion an inexperienced forza player under thier wing? hehe
