Lego Dimensions - Help

Evening Pistonheads, I'm hoping I may find an answer here as I'm having some issues.

I purchased the gateway for PS4 last week with supegirl. I then purchased the following:

Sonic Level pack
Simpsons Level pack
Gremlins Team pack
Harry Potter Team Pack
Cyberman fun pack
Fantastic beasts fun pack
A Team fun pack
Benny fun pack

Now I'm having issues with the following:

Gremlins
A Team
Fantastic Beasts

When trying to enter the portal it tells me there's an update to the level and it will install and remove the old pack. Great, it downloads installs and then allows me into the level. Turn the game off or even go and do something else and it tells me again that I need to download an update so I can't then go in.

I'm confused as to what I'm doing wrong? Any ideas?

Bit strange that, I know the new packs require a download but I've not had a problem once installed.

Have you got the correct character on the toypad as you try to enter the level?
