Hi

I fancy a quick go now if anyone else is on, and will post times later.

Anyone else managed a practice already? (Last race was only hours ago )

GTLRank benchmark times say:

906, 911 and Pantera ~ 1:57.000
GT40 ~ 2:04.000

Alternative Times(Greger Huttu/Other ):

906 ~ 2:00.4
911 ~ 1:59.9
GT40 ~ 2:05.5
Pantera ~ 1:59.7

Anything in the region of above looks to be about right and a good time
If we beat those times we are on track for a good race!

Dave.

Yeah think 2.06ish in the 906 first guidline time then again I stuggled to get a lap in without some kind of distraction. Think i'll leave practice now until (if) the new beast arrives

Hopefully can stay at 2.06 or under consistantly

Haven't turned a wheel at Imola yet, running out of time as well.... Out tomorrow and saturday night, so I may end up racing without having practiced at all!

Same... had about 20mins practice overall and that looks to be about it.

YES YES YES YES YES

50fps is about as low as I am going to get now Fan is bloody loud though, needs something doing with it. I think it might be stuck on hi-revs..

By the way, the new comp has arrived

you could replicate it in GTL too. And we could all practice loads in the GT40 in GTL and then go to donington where you'd all let us have a go to see if we can beat our real world laptime. I know you'd do that, you're such a generous and trusting chap.

Lets do it!

That reminds me...

I know I started it ages ago and it's still not finished yet, need to cover the wooden bit but my vinyls haven't arrived yet

Now go and make one yourself..!
Dave.

PS. Thank god, anyone want a night race?

Not too slow as long as you keep going, I will be in those times quite a lot for a guess, especially after spinning

Cya all later, and I'm going on for practice now

My summary:

Very good race, crippling mistakes and an braking marker that disappears prematurely
