Just curious about what everyone's looking forward to getting their paws on next year games wise?

Personally I've got NeverWinter Nights 2, Supreme Commander and whatever Relic are releasing as the follow on to Dawn of War on my shopping list.

You should try Company of Heroes then

CoH supplied the engine for DoW. To be honest if I can't send a legion of space marines, landraiders and dreadies over to squish things... not all that interested.

I thought it was the other way round.

Have you played the expansion pack, Winter Assault?

Winter Assault and Dark Crusade

The Necrons are... insane damage tanks. You just march them in and boom job jobbed.

When did Dark Crusade come out?

Unfortunatly I'll be waiting for the new Total War Game in 2007 as I won't be able to afford a computer to play it (or Dawn of War well, for that matter) until then!

27th October Dark Crusade is out in the UK.
US have it now... fortunatley I have a friend in the states

Did you get NWN2 yet? I got mine yesterday and I'm loving it
The camera angles can be a bit odd, but you get used to it after a while. The sound stutters a bit on my PC on the cut-scenes, but surprisingly, no major performance issues yet (touch wood )

Not too sure whether I like the new UI or not yet...

The Lawful Good LE is good - it has a full copy of NWN with SOTU and HOTD expansion packs thrown in

No. Not got it yet. Off to Pompey tomorrow to scout the local shops.
The Limited Ed' is tempting but I already have puka copies of NWN, SOTU and HOTD expansions. Still haven't completed HOTD though... I must find the backup of my save games.

I had the original + expansion packs but I lost the covers so it was nice to get another copy. TBH if you already have copies, it's probably not worth it unless you want a dodgy Orc model and a pewter ring I've seen a lot of people don't like NWN2, but I've just lost about 4 hours playing it boxedin

Sadako wants it though as he's been naughty with my copies. Grr. GRRR. I'll see what the outlets in town have tomorrow.
