its a combination of time of day, film and camera. These are all at dawn or dusk when the light is nice, velvia 100F as a nice warm tone with strong contrast and saturation, and the lenses give great colour too. I'm still not happy with the scans but thats another matter...

Having been to all of those places (multiple times in most cases) I'm very very impressed by those photos, especially being taken all in one visit. It almost makes them look better than real life.
ETA: That last one of the Lindis Pass especially, it looks like it was painted by Graeme Sydney rather than photgraphed, and that is a very big compliment.

Great stuff matt. I absolutely adore number 11 (tree in lake) and the First Foot Island pic is a masterpiece.
