That TVR pic is very nice but the PH resize is doing it no favours. (Try making it 750 before posting)

Done by myself on Saturday

While not overly impressive I'm pleased with myself because for possibly first time object is reasonably sharp with background blurred to show movement. Only hand held at 25 yards with little kodak 5meg 4530 digital.

That's a nice pic docevil. Where did you take it? I'm still waiting to confirm a Turbo S sighting.

Thank you

it was up at Hartside Cafe (the summit of the A686, Penrith to Hexham) on Sunday (more here).

Amusingly, I wasn't overawed by the car itself - looks just like any other Porker IMO (is it special?).

As far as I can tell it's a runout version of the turbo with the x50 kit and the special brakes. The main point of interest for me is that my train takes me past a dealer every day and a few weeks ago I could swear I had seen a turbo S, but didn't think they existed. Only upon seeing EVO did I find out it was real and not my imagination

That cafe looks like a good place to visit and get some pictures!

Not really, apart from the road the scenery is very bland and shots of the area by itself are plain boring (see the first 3 shots here).

The road is really nice, but you can't get moved for bikers, but if you know the area there are some stunning roads to be found off the beaten track around there. Suffice to say when I get something to photograph thats where I'll be going.

I was quite pleased with these two I took at the recent Britcar/Britsports round at Brands;

Harry Handkammer/David Leslie's M3 before it got stuffed on the first lap of the race...

...and PHer Chris Setters (chris sideways) having an "Oh, bugger!!" moment at Druids.

First pic using a KonicaMinolta Revio digi-compact thingy and the second with a Minolta Dynax 505Si SLR.

Just remember, people can get quite Anal about photo's. At the end of the day, if you like them thats all that matters. I quite like yours as it happens, well done.

Am I alone in thinking Docevil's Porsche pic looks better with the bloke in the picture? It adds another dimension to the pic IMHO.

Anyway, my fave pic of the year (that I've taken) is:

No photoshop, no cropping.
