July 2008 Photo Competition - chit chat

Thanks Stig.
My flickr page is at: www.flickr.com/photos/muddy_defender/
The exif for the 3rd shot says it was taken at a little after 9am in late October - I usually forget to change the clock on my cameras so it could well have been 8am.

Really looking forward to judging this comp at the end of the month.
There's already an exciting selection of shots above - I'm sensing it's going to be a tough job to pick a winner and we're only one week in. Planning on taking the same approach for judging as recently used by nick_bbb and rhubarb, so haven't looked in the entries thread yet.
Keep 'em coming

That is a fantastic image, I love itEdited by ol on Thursday 10th July 17:39
ol - for me it's easily the first one, though it's looking slightly over processed in your latest post. To get crisp edges around the detailed silhouette, you need to set JPG quality to maximum before saving (and edit from the original image).
If you had that in high enough resolution, I would have it as a poster/print.

Wow thanks very much! I'll have another play about and try to make it look more natrual. The colour on the original is just a little 'washed out.'If you had that in high enough resolution, I would have it as a poster/print.
Thanks for your positive comment though, really apreciate it!
ETA:
Done less 'processing' and re-sized it so it doesn't squish.
Any better?

I usually look in here but rarely post. Anyway, I was experimenting at Le Mans and this one vaguely comes under silhouettes (tried to get the team working round the car on a long exposure).
Criticise away as I know it could be done better but not sure where to start, and the pit board could have been moved but I ran out of space in the stand.
