That looks superb!
A question though - I didn't know Caterham were stil making R500s? Is it the Duratec engine, I assume so? I thought they were then calling their Duratec cars CSR xxx? Either way, it looks brilliant

It is indeed a gorgeous thing, and with such roads to play on too!
What spec did you opt for Steve?
Pretty much what you see - R500, half doors, white/black, leather ajustable seats (much more comfy on bumpy roads), heater (waste of money as the footwell turns into the centre of the sun after 30 miles), Tonneau to keep the mice out. Couple of cheap skid lids and a tank of fuel. Oh and £249 for the dodgy plate (though I had to spend half of that for ANY plate). What spec did you opt for Steve?
Looking at the price of used examples on the Caterham web site .... is there potential for replacing it every year with a new one and having the experience cost you almost nothing? (I'm assuming that the capital invested would make very little guaranteed income in the current market.)
Or are the specs high and the advertised prices pure fiction?
