That's really rather good!
For some reason. Soon as I started to play that the scene from Band of Brothers where there is a big pile of rubble and a guy plays the violin, sprang in to my head.

Might just be the only 2 moments of culture in my head...? Or possibly Carter that was the sort of moment/memory you were aiming for!

Hauntingly beautiful Steve - I am in awe of the kind of talent it must take to be able to create something like that. (sorry for going onto fanboy mode paperbag)

Most of my music fits in well with a person in a wheelchair falling down stairs. Ask me to write *happy* music and I'm screwed.

Del 203; PM me a postal address. They make good coasters.

It was a toss up between AR2 and Angel 1. I used Steve Price, who works at both and prefers Angel (and it's cheaper - and I was paying!)

Very Very nice. I actually realised about an hour after asking that it was too big a desk for AR2.
Itching for a session on an 88RS.
Got a big live room like that (although not as swanky) for Glasgow now, but no big desk unfortunately.

Eyup GC have you forget to include the singing bit and the rock guitars, sort of in an AC/DC-Maiden-Metallica sort of way? Cos it's a bit mournful!

Yep, you're right. He ruined my business model. Everyone who listened to his music is now dead, either having killed themselves or having died of boredom.

Samuel Barber was right on the cusp of suicidal from depression, but he's dead, so crack on GC. There's an opening.

You never know what you're going to get on this thread hehe

Haha, I didn't even notice there was a video there until I clicked back after reading your comment. Still haven't watched it but anyone who can make a 7+ minute video about something that's already fully explained in the caption for said video is due some kind of douchebag award.

To say that he points out the obvious quite a bit on that video would be an understatement. Just want to punch him! punch

Judging by the number of technique emails i get each week, i'd guess John (JSS) was talking about the domes rather than wool. Couple of people on flickr seem to have got to the bottom of it, probably won't be long before they're bleedin' ev'rywhere.
Yep its thoes pesky domes confused, but they must be easy or Andy wouldn't be able to do them getmecoat

full domes are alot easier to do, get a small torch on the end of some string, put something on the floor like a penny and practise spinning it so the touch always passes over the penny takes abit of getting used to, i cant do them

as for the wire wool i found that an old wire bird feeder and wool with a lighter works well with string on the end

i have seen all sorts used for light painting old xmas tree lights etc
