PH Studio Shoot....Updated

Hi kinkyboots
When chatting with Pete the pro he suggested a lens that is around 90mm. I used an 18 - 135mm kit lens on my nikon D80, and must is a tripod, although there was a couple of spares on the set...I also tried a few shot with other lenses that I have when we tried out a few ideas.......i'm sure you will have great day...i'm hoping that the guys put on the advanced session, as previously suggested...Paul G any ideas when?

I was looking at this today, and initially thought December, that's still a possibility but as it's a busy month for most it's more likely to happen in November 10, or late Jan 11.
I'll keep you posted.....
Late Jan early Feb for me itching to have another go...I'll keep you posted.....
(and get there on time instead)
Paul,
Im clearly being extrememly stupid!! I have hunted and searched and hunted for any of the words you used in your reply to me but can't find anything
I managed to save 1 of my own files from flickr by right clicking and saving as, (as you suggested it was small/medium size) but none of the other photos will let me, guess Flickr must put restrictions on saving other peoples work (including your own!)
Any ideas on resizing images anyone?? It's so I can add a few on here.
P.S I use Windows not Mac.
Thanks guys.
Tip for the photoshoot, take a remote switch with you, some of the guys didn't have one and felt they needed one. You want one with a cable that plugs into the camera. If you don't have one ebay sell them, seller UKpartsdeal, based in Swansea (normally next day delivery on all sorts of goodies!)

Abzi im guessing you are useing the new version of flickr which is still a bit glitchi.
just select the photo and right click on it you should get a pop up with the sizes click the size you want it then opens in a new window. right click that picture and go to properties and nab the url and paste it as usual.
on some occations tho the sizes pop up comes up streight away.
this is my faviourate shot of yours tho
nice shots by everyone and im itching to get to anouther sesh soon

If you are using Flickr and have not started using the new photo page beta then on one of your own photos you click the "All Sizes" button in the row of buttons above the photo. Then select "Small" or "Medium".Under the photo you will see it says "2. Grab the photo's URL:". Copy that url and past it into a PH forum post with
[img][/img]tags either side.
If you are in the Flickr beta for the new photo page then click "Share This" above the photo and then click "Grab the Link". Copy that url and past it into a PH forum post with the img tags either side.
Some people have their Flickr privacy settings enabled to stop people getting large versions of their files.

Thanks Guys; I have been seriously impressed with the images from the shoot, a very high standard by all and some nice cars too; as I said before, an excellent day and a real insight into how it should be done, hats off to Pete and Paul. I am looking forward to any future photoshoot opportunities.
Fantastic thread!
Absolutely gutted I missed this amazing opportunity. I live really local to Autocar in Teddington, and am myself a photographer with a very keen interest for cars (Have a trackday spec Civic Type-R).
If anything like this ever comes up again, i'd bite my hand off to visit!
Edit: Just seen another thread with dates, will hopefully be booking up shortly!

Actually guys, I always have last minute cancellations for these events, so if anyone fancies coming along to one of our studio sessions (and can come along at relatively short notice) please drop me a line through my profile. I could do with a few reserves to fill the occasional empty spot so please do get in touch.
While we are on the subject, the November session is open for bookings and a few spaces are available if anyone fancies it
