I'm a lost cause. If I can, I probably will.

Give us a shout when you're up.

How do you get ANY work done?

Those roads + that car = me bankrupt within a year due to zero work getting done.

Fantastic Steve, congrats! smile

In true Sad Git tradition, I get up at about 05.30 and drive for an hour or two. The only thing I ever see are deer and sheep. That sounds good, but the deer up here are really stupid and REALLY big, and ALWAYS move the wrong way.

By 09.30 (at this time of year) the tourists are out with their heads well and truly stuck up their backsides, so progress is impossible. So car goes back into garage and I can work - to pay for it.

I ordered the car early Jan, thinking I'd get it late March... (perfect) but Caterham are working flat out as the Krauts all want one now (Top Gear must be playing over there). To have it delivered late July was a bit of a shock. But mine is number 088 - so there are not many of us about!

I can officially confirm that this R500 is EVEN more bonkers than the 2002 version I had before. A bunch more horses, and 0-60 in under 2.9

OUCH

(That was my spine BTW)

I giggled. Honestly I did. Like a schoolgirl.

That's insane. It was insane to design it. Insane to build it. And thrice insane to drive it.

Sir. I doff my cap to you. You are a proper nutter.

Enjoy. And may you always keep it shiny side up and on the black bit.

Oh and £249 for the dodgy plate (though I had to spend half of that for ANY plate).

Love the plate wobble
