In our experience, Germanic girls are reliable and conscientious. Scandinavians are too serious. East European au pairs are more like forces of nature. Perfect for younger kids.

I had Danish, German and Swedish au pairs, and a big old Labrador, looking after me as a lad. Dunno why but most of the girls I've dated have been Danish, Swedish and German.
