A run up the country.
Discussion
Kent to the North East of Scotland.
600 Miles.
Picture every three seconds.
All condensed down to 7 minutes.

Awesome, seems to have been a hell of a lot of trucks on the road that day, and also looked like a white van man meetup at the dartford tunnel area ![biggrin](/inc/images/biggrin.gif)
Other than starting off at Dover ferry, most of that up until 5:38 is my run home to Blantyre![smile](/inc/images/smile.gif)

Brilliant!
Love how the direct-rear sun that creates the rainbows ca 2m40s also creates such a menacing shadow from your roof bars. Leaving in the sandwich break/ fuel stops really adds to the sense of journeying with you.
On the technical side, not familiar with the camera you used - did it use much space or were you recording at (relatively) low res purely for vid?

It's a Contour GPS which has the timelapse function. It was running with the external 12V supply. On the technical side, not familiar with the camera you used - did it use much space or were you recording at (relatively) low res purely for vid?
I didn't use much space on the card - about 5Gb. It was running with a 32Gb card so plenty of capacity.
Images worked out to be about 450Kb in size each.
Here's an example of the quality of the images straight out the camera.
Your vid made me head to the coast and shoot a timelapse of the sunset this evening...tried out using the 60D this evening instead of the GoPro, definitely better quality and the benefit of it not auto adjusting when the light drops like the GoPro does...

Glad folks like it.
With this being PH, I thought someone would have passed comment on lane discipline (either good or bad).![smile](/inc/images/smile.gif)
No-one queried why on the Motorway network at 1:25 I went cross country. FYI - I was shouting at the radio and missed the junction. The joys of travelling on your own
There is a lovely roundabout sculpture there of a plane just off the motorway at that junction though.
