I think all you've done wrong is used [pic] formatting when you need to use [img].

Thought I'd bump this to the top as a lot of posters these days seem to have forgotten / don't know about it. It's not just for reasons of bandwidth (although it does still play a part) but more to do with the fact that PH automatically squashes any photograph to just above 750px wide (IIRC it's actually 758px) and the routine it uses to squash the photo is not very clever and leaves them looking very rough.

If you want people to be able to se the large (and undoubtedly impressive) version please see the post above this one for the formatting you should use.

Can someone please help me on the posting of pictures from flickr, when i put the link in a thread the picture comes out tiny, and the ends cut off, what am i doing wrong?

Posting from Flickr

Click the "Share this" tab
Click "Grab the BB Code"
Choose size
Click BBCode

Then copy the code and paste in to PH
