I met a few fellow PH photographers today, so I thought it would be good to make up a thread of our photos. But not the normal 'pic of car' type photos. The arty farty ones that we all love and adore. Post away

Few of mine:

At the pub after, Trackdemon showed me his shot of the Bugatti engine and I was stunned by it... I found out I took a similar one, but his one has the full 'Bugatti' logo showing.

Here are mine: VW Pics

If you want to link to or download any, click the little icon on the right hand side of the image. Thought i would give that BananAlbum that Size13 found a go. Also, was my first proper chance to use my new 20D, shall get a few printed on Monday to see what the quality is like.

Black border idea shamelessly nicked from Trackdemon

I think you need to make the transition between blurry and sharp and bit less blunt on the first one, the sharp mini wheels distract a bit.

The second one is a nice effect, but why are the headlights grey?

Its called progress, I think.

Its a lovely car, the Aston. A trip out to one of Mr C's local drinking establishments (alright, not THAT local ) showed me all I needed to know.

Lovely car

Someone hadn't been polishing his donkey (and no that isn't a euphemism ).

Dark + biggish zoom = rather small DOF

100% crop.

Here are a few I took with my new Sony DSC-W12. I had it set on 1MP to give me enough room for lots of movie clips on my 512MB memory stick Even so, more than happy with the image quality at that setting

I agreee it's a lovely car, a refined elegant gentlemans car indeed, I just think the Cerby looked better, but the Aston is probably leagues ahead in terms of build a reliability, although Zagato did'nt improve on the original DB7 looks IMO. (bit difficult to I guess)

Nice to see something different though
