Had a look in a High Street shop in Malaga today, all with kit lens:-

300D (silver)....999 Euros

350D....1099 Euros

D70....1150 Euros

I know, I wasn't saying otherwise, just wanted to show that it's the same everywhere. High Steets rip you off...buy on-line.

Nah - I'll use DPP. I find Rawshooter incredibly frustrating and don't like the lack of being able to set the dynamic range with a simple two stage drag of the lower and uppper range that you get with DPP.

Rawshooters "auto-exposure" also sucks big time - if you turn on it's "colour clipped pixels" and then hit ALT-E on quite a large number of images you get loads of clipped pixels - really good.

DPP also seems to be quicker from a GUI perspective - I can live with the slightly longer processing times.
